I think a good idea for a new voyager movie cold still take place in the delta quadrant, they left that open they could use the technology that janeway used to open the hole to get to the past in the first place. they installed the armor which tells you they scanned the ship and have the blueprints to make the device she stole from the klingons to open the conduit so if they equipped that on voyager thay could go to the delta quadrant when ever they want, to explore the remaining space that was not explored. so species 8472 or borg could be used or a speciies never before seen anything is possible. but i would like to see star trek go forward instead of back like recreating the orginal series no thanks i need special effects and borg something that poses a challenge even a movie were voyager and the soverign class enterprise go back to the delta quadrant togeather with armor and transphasic torpedos to devistate the borg. what do you think good idea or fantasy [/b]

Thats interesting but I'm not sure if something like that would ever be made. If they had that technology why would they send Voyager back by itself.

they dont have to like i said they could send outher ships to explore the delta quadrant lets face it if you were that far from home and you come back to starfleet with all that knowledge about the borg and species 8472 you dont think thay would send you back to make alliances and gather intellegince. i think i would if i was starfleet command. even making a show about making a spacestation in the delta quadrant. they did it in ds9 i thinks its possible

Yea, a show rather than a movie would be much better. There is a lot of stuff that I would want to see. I'm not sure if they could fit it all in a movie.

I think they should make a movie out of the book "Pathways"

Jeri Taylor wrote it - it's basically a story about how each Voyager member made it to Voyager and their histories. It was much more in depth than the series.

I'm going to see if I can find that book at the store this week.

BTW, I doubt there's going to be any reincarnation of Voyager.

most voy character s are on other shows. they have obligations to those shows, not a str trk movie. and besides the crew is old just like the tng one

Gah, I dunno. But sadly, I have to agree with Morphy on that one.

A mini series would have been good to see though...you know, even just 2 or 3 feature length episodes following the crew, settling back into life on earth, or whatever they'd be going to do. No big story lines, just stuff like...Chakotay being debriefed...maybe getting a command...Harry maybe getting another assignment, meeting up with Libby again. Tom and B'Elanna finding a home somewhere, settling down with the new baby. Maybe Janeway getting promoted, speaking to Mark. B'Elanna catching up with her dad...Seven maybe going to Starfleet Acadamy...the Doctor being awarded for this, that and the other! Some sort of mentioning of Neelix...etc. etc.
