That's me as you might've noticed. Just wanted to say hello and announce my arrival. I hope to have a lot of fun with you Trekkies. Hehe.
As for who I am; I am a young fella with a particular interest in Star Trek, I am a music producer by day, and a script writer at night. Hey, I may not be Superman, but who nowadays is.
I enjoy long strolls on the beach, watching Star Trek with the missus and gourmet cooking.
Hope you all are in a welcoming mood, because by the looks of it, I might be staying awhile.

hey ya. Whassup with the scriptwriting, do you do that on your own or for somebody? I'm a bit of a budding screenwriter myself, getting through college to go work for Universal or Lucasfilm or the like. I'm Sam by the way. Sup?

What's up Sam. Currently I'm doing it on my own for the moment, whilst I look for the right agent for me. I write scripts about everything from the scifi-genre to comedy.
So, what's up with you?

Not much, I'm getting ready to head out to NYC to teach Film Studies so right now I'm reading up on writing about film. Have you had any luck with scripts before, and second looks or anything? I know it's a pretty competetive field. I've written one feature length but am looking more at going into TV writing or pitching.

Film Studies? Very nice. I've been trying on my own as said before, so it's been slow, that's why I've decided I'd be better off with a agent. And indeed, quite competitive. So far, I've been in discussions with some people about using my work but still, but nothings gone through so far. But with a agent, hopefully that'll change.
What's your feature length about?

Well, I'm not so proud of it, but it did take me the better part of four years to flesh out and write in late middle school and early high school. it's just a conspiracy drug trade story with some FBI and love. you know... basic stuff, but it is pretty long and complex. I mostly have a lot more story-wise for pitches. I'm hoping to get an internship with Pixar in the Story department within the next year.

Oh yeah.. Hi. I'm adam. The local dark-evil-apocalyptic-chicken-little guy. Just give me a shout if you need 1 of any 3 reasons why the world could end in the next 20 minutes.

Well... the current theme is the US missile shield vs. russia thing.
Basically, the quickest, and simplest end of the world theme right now:
Putin wants to flex his muscles, so he launches a nuclear missile against texas.
Bush, who hasn't set up his star wars missile shield thing yet retailiates by launching a missile against Moscow.
Putin in turn, seeing impending death launches all his missiles at random targets.
The US retaliates by launching all thier missiles at putin's missiles.
This inturn causes radioactive poisoning of the atmosphere, oceans, and plant/animal life.
Thus, the end of the world.

As long as I go down watching a bit of Star Trek, I'll be a happy man. A dead man perhaps, but still, a happy man.

Rock on! We've got an end of the world party ready!
All we need is some voyager episodes, and a 102 inch plasma screen T.V.
And we are ready for armaggeddon!

Voyager? Meh. As long as we skip the first couple of seasons. For some reason I thought the whole Kazon/Seska thing was drawn out for too long. Made the whole thing a bit boring.

Me too, was a bit dissappointing to see Kes go, but they did it with a bang. Plus, she was a bit too cuddly. But I think they blew Voyager out of proportions considering all that fancy outlandish stuff they got towards the end. Not to say that I didn't like them acquiring new stuff, but seriously, alone in the Delta Quadrant and they get all sorts of outlandish *beep*? It's only a Light Cruiser/Exploration vessel.

Way too true.
They over-used alot of fancy-dancy borg plots to get voyager home intime to cut them off at seven seasons.
I wish they would have had one more, but they atleast had the decency to do it before they ran out of plot ideas, and you start having things like Neelix's cooking mutating into dancing girls wearing pathetic costumes, and taking over the ship by making people eat thier toenails or something,

And thank god for that. Voyager had it's moments but it was pretty mediocre. Unfortunately, since it had a pretty good premise. But seriously... Sometimes, I couldn't remember if it was a Star Trek show or just another shoot-em up sci-fi action adventure. Not that I don't like a bit of action once in a while, but it really faltered from the morale of ze Star Trek show in my honest opinion. Oh well, I'll still watch it, nonetheless.
