				| With a rather delightful cast, including Hugh Laurie as the lead character, Dr. Greg House, this show is fascinating. Rather then basing it on the 'human' point of view of medicines, as such shows as Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, General Hospital, Etc., House, MD. focuses on the disease side, and Dr. House himself has issues dealing with patients.
His disability, and sporty cane((which looks 12 times fancier then mine)), along with his Vicodin addiction help create a rather fascinating character.
He also lives by two simple virtues: 1) Tell the truth, 2) People lie and are stupid.
His dislike of actually talking to and meeting patients is almost legendary, and in one episode, he actually DIAGNOSED, TREATED, AND SAVED THE LIFE OF A PATIENT from an airport several hundred miles away.
He has also dealt with his own personal issues, from tyrant bosses, rehab facilities, getting shot, and my personal favorite, having a huge crush on one of his staff.((Dr. Cameron/Lisa Edelstein))
His british assistant, who is generally rather... amusing, and unamused has a very different point of view from Dr. House. Rather then diagnose by treatment, he prefers to throw a barrage of tests at the patient, which generally are usually wrong, and he usually gets reemed out because of this.
His Neurologist has had his share of problems, including becomming sick with an illnesswhich almost killed him. However, the young lad is rather brilliant, and has even managed to be House's "boss" for brief periods throughout the series, however, as always, Dr. house always proves that NO ONE can control him.
His Boss, Dr. Cuddy, is rather darkly humored, but definetly helps make the show worth while. But don't listen to me... watch it yourself. Usually on boot 9 o'clock on tuesdays or wednsdays. I personally just get them on DVD season by season, but that's cause I'm an addict

				| I love this show, we are at season 2 here i think. Please don't spoil.
Hugh Laurie is always funny(black adder) but i watch mostly for Lisa Edelstein

Always seems to kinda be the same scenario in every episode though. The first diagnosis they make is always wrong, and their patients seem to always have 2 diseases at the same time.

But of course the metaphores of House and the guessing of his pupils is always great to hear. Especially when House already knows what the patients has and the others don't.

btw, the British assistant you mentioned is Australian.

and you shouldn't forget Dr. House only friend Dr. Wilson the psychiatrist(brilliant thought up for House's egoistic, sarcastic and cynical personality).

				| I have such a huge crush on Cameron and Dr. Cuddy, lol. I think that Cuddy, until recently has been durastically underused, and Wilson, until recently has been durasticly overused. We're at season 3, actuall, I think... I have seasons 1&2.

				| I think it's supposed to be like that, Lionhead. There are a few episodes that are differnt though.
It's a really funny show, IMO. Of course, you have to appreciate the humor to find it funny, but still.

Anyone who can't find the humor in some of these episodes needs to grow a sense of humor. Anyone else find this show as addictive as Vicodin?

				| Well we knew about Foreman.
The question is, how long into the next season will it take for things to return to status quo? I'm betting three episodes.

  	  | Quote: | | Although, it's possible one won't come back. If that's the case, Foreman is probably that one. Cameron is safe. And because of his relationship with her, and the fact that he needs a job, I think that Chase will come back too. Although Foreman could come back, his exit was the most drawn out and he is the one who needs House the least. Of course, that means House ironically needs Foreman the most. |

				| Woohoo!
 House has returned!

 Awesomest quote ever:

Wilson on House and Amber, after house demanded 'joint custody' of Wilson:

"I'm going to piss off one of them, and I'm afraid of both of them."
