I've never posted a WIP, so I figured I'd give it a shot

I started off with a sketch of a dragon. I did it in blue pencil so that I could tidy it up easily on the computer, but it didn't like me, so...


Now I'm working on blocking in the basic colors and shadows.

It's pretty sloppy, but I like where it's going.

I'm going to try and find some good texture brushes so that I can work on adding more depth and distinction to the scales and such.

I'd love any critiques anyone has

The first one is by hand, the second with a mouse on GIMP.

However, I've sortof given up on it for now since I just got a tablet and photoshop elements 3 which are much easier to use.
