				|
 |
				| | Quote: | | The Roman Catholic Church has effectively buried the concept of limbo, the place where centuries of tradition and teaching held that babies who die without baptism went.
In a long-awaited document, the Church's International Theological Commission said limbo reflected an "unduly restrictive view of salvation."

Interesting stuff, although it seems kind of strange that they're just omitting concepts such as these. I thought it was all supernatural?

				| I'm enjoying how the Pope, who used to be infallible and have God's ear and whatnot, is essentially retracting doctrine (which would be an admission of fallibility). Not that I'm criticising him or anything.
 Hallowed are the Ori!

				| I suggest we learn the Church's teaching on infallibility before we talk about it. It's clear that a good reading of the Catechism would benefit many before they speak about what they think they know, but truly don't.
The Church never defined limbo as infallible and something that you must believe in. It should have always been taught as a mere possibility that the faithful may come to a personal belief on.

The Church doesn't go about changing things at the drop of a hat, and if anyone has that impression, they are wrong.
