DIABETICS CURED BY STEM-CELL TREATMENT ADVANCE

13 out of 15 young patients who used injections of stem cells as a treatment for their diabeties no longer have to take insulen shots.

The results were recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

This is fantastic. While it's not a complete cure right now, it is a great start. Hopefully they will be conducting more tests soon, and be able to treat the public quickly.

I hate to be the pessimist, but they only cured Type 1 diabetes. No way to tell whether this will work for the more prevalent type 2.

Maybe so, WeAz, but this is a start fora type 2 cure.

And to those 5%-10%? How will they feel about this, just because it doesn't do anything for Type II?
