I am unable to download the files as it asks me for a username and password
since this isnt a video download its just an MP3 that this person has made commentating on the movie that you most own/and play in time with his media file that gives commentraty I dont see a problem with it.

Thanks. It just takes the time to watch the films, I am not working from notes or anything. As for copyright, I am not quite sure what copyright you think I am violating as I am producing the work myself which can stand alone or be played with a film.

Working on the download problem..I have no idea why it is asking for a user name and password to download now, it was not earlier. I will ask the admin and get back to you. In the mean time you can hear the files here:

A personal commentary voice over violates no laws Defiant. It's an audio of ones comments on a particular subject. There is no movie footage or audio in the files being offered for download so you can relax and let moderators on the forum decide what stays and what goes.
SebRT, nice bit of commentary work there from what I checked out. Ditl.org may intrest you for technical data on various technologies used in trek (I noticed you said you wasn't sure why quantum torpedoes were what they are).

PS: Thanks for the nice words. Yeah, I will do my research next time about Quantum torpedoes... As you can tell from the audio I watch the show on other levels than the technology and the story and I was talking a lot about that stuff, didn't think to mention the torpedoes in great detail. My mistake. Truth is..I just thought they were invented by the writers/tech guys because they needed a new weapon for the new movie for the new enterprise to fire at the borg to kick their butt.
I am glad you guys are enjoying it, just gives me cause to complete the set. Expect to see Nemesis next...I am working getting my brain in gear to record it.

Quantum torps were engineered to fight the borg and dominion, but overall they are more powerful than conventional photons and work on Zero Point Energy (ZPE), where photons are a simple (in 24th century trek terms) explosion of matter and antimatter. (better stop now to not sound like too much of a geek! LOL)
I look foreward to the trek writeup and have the full dvd handy for that which makes dvd and mp3 sync easier

SebRT,
Nice... I don't think I've ever seen anyone do a commentary on these films before.

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for the nice comments. To clear the record, I am not a "hardcore" fan, I am an enthusiastic fan --I don't own a Star Trek uniform or only watch trek on TV. Infact, I havn't watched Star Trek since I did my latest commentary for Nemesis. I don't really watch Star Trek these days much at all. The show I can't stop watching at the moment is CSI: Miami --and its current and being produced, maybe I could write a script for them, who knows..
To download the latest commentary, please go here:

I would also like to direct anyone who is interested to my recent interview with Rico on the Trek Sci Fi podcast . It was great to talk about Star Trek with Rico and I'd love to go back on the show sometime! The interview is on show #112.
