Maybe. I wouldn't care, but, I'm beginning to think so, more and more lately.
"Rapture" was pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the ending. A nice way to start up for the new year. To my knowledge, even more shocking things are to come. I can't wait.
Oh, and, yes, Hitchhiker. I completely agree. The Cylons are definitely developing into fully-developed, three-dimensional enemies, as you said.

Helo's discovery toward the end of the episode definitely made me consider that too.

Yeah. Thing is, when I was being caught up by a friend who knew some of the important episodes between where I am and the newest one, he decided to "let slip" that that was a "fact" (jokingly) and I freaked out. But now that it may be true... I'm mad.

"Taking a Break..." is definitely one of my favorite episodes from this season, so far. It's up there with "Collaborators" and "Occupation/Precipice".
The love situation with Lee and all of them was interesting. I like the new bar. And, most of all, I particularly enjoyed the (trippy) Baltar scenes.
I am eagerly anticipating the trial, in two weeks time. The political type episodes of BSG always seem to be my favorites.

Baltar's whole tribulation wasn't that interesting to me. I don't know. I was fairly angry about Rosyln and Adama condoning such techniques--Roslyn keeps on saying she's principled, and then somehow she always manages to get into unprincipled situations. It makes her duplicitous enough that I'm losing regard for her as president.
Apollo's attempted reconciliations were nice. I don't forgive him for anything and feel no sympathy for him or Starbuck. They're adults and should know better.
Trial episodes are boring, frankly. I haven't seen a trial episode on any show that jumps to mind as memorable (yes, even "The Menagerie" doesn't make the cut). They usually mean flashback episodes/clip shows. While I'm hoping BSG doesn't succumb to this, I can't say I am enthusiastic about next episode. Still, the writers are doing a good job keeping us in suspense. Gaeta's actions were unexpected, although in hindsight I can see what motivated him to do it. And the ending of the episode, while not my favourite, was well done.

Okay. The only thing that I can say about the last episode (Maelstrom) is holy frak. I was expecting something to happen but not that.

The writers totally frakked us over.
Spoilers ahead wrote: | Starbuck is obviously not dead. She's too important to just kill off for the emotional shock. However, I'm not going to make any firm speculations about what her purpose is for the plot. Some sort of catalyst for change? Another prophet? Honestly, no clue.
Moore said she definitely isn't a Cylon, so that rules out the whole "one of the Final Five" thing. But then, what's the connection between her paintings and the temple they found? Why is that symbol present in both? What did her mother know?
And yeah, at the end of the episode, I was just shocked. I couldn't move. I haven't been that shocked since the writers pulled their "one year later" stunt at the end of season 2. Although I'm not a huge fan of Starbuck-centric episodes . . . this one was good. |

i though it was a great episode. I mean, the one year later of season 2 was a lot worse then this.
I'm sure its not the end of it all. To be continued as always.
i wish they hurry up though, get to the point already.

The trial itself will probably be boring. The scant preview, however, intrigued me, because of that lawyer who's going to be representing Baltar. And assigning Apollo to guard Baltar might prove interesting too.

From Entertainment Weekly's "Best Bet" for next Sunday night, a journalist who has already seen the finale...

That statement could go either way. A. it could be someone unimportant B. it could be someone really important.
Dang. I'm pumped for the finale (Part 1, anyways). While it seems that a lot of other people aren't up on Season 3 so far, but, I've been loving pretty much every second of it.

I'd give it a four. I liked it...
Quote: | I really like Lampkin (Baltar's lawyer). Also, I'm liking Lee's character development lately. Back to the "I hate dad" days. I was a bit suprised to see him give up his wings, though, I expect that he'll be taking those back soon enough. I'm guessing it's Tigh as the Cylon. With the radio and everything. He's the only one who seems to be hearing it in his mind. |

Great episode. Number 19. Can't wait for the revealing of another Cylon.
Quote: | I thought it might be Torri. But as Sam Kenobi said "Him". I think its Either Colonel Tigh(doubtful) or Samuel Anders(as he survived Caprica and nobody knew him before that). It couldn't be Helo as he has a Hybrid baby with a Cylon and it couldn't be Admiral Adama as he has been checked by Roslyn. and if Admiral Adama isn't a cylon, then his son isn't either(as i remember all cylons being unfamiliar people) |

Quote: | Right... I think it's all three of them. Boomer did say a while back that there were 8 more cylons in the fleet, and I really think thatthey could just as well reveal 3 in the finale. |
But I'm going to be ON A BUS during the final episode and won't find out what happened for a WEEK. GODS DAMNIT!

Some major spoilers on the season finale ahead.
Quote: | I actually loved the finale. The style of the episode seemed a bit different, but, I liked it. The song actually got stuck in my head. Guess I'm a Cylon. I'm still not positive on Anders and Co. being Cylons. Maybe there is a different explanation behind the radio. However, it makes sense if they are Cylons. Also, I really loved that moment where Tigh walks through the door at the end and just goes "Whoa". Anyways, Lee's speech was very moving (to me) as well. I had a gut feeling that Baltar was going to get off, but, I was still very suprised by the whole thing. I didn't expect Adama to vote not guilty. Also, Starbuck's appearance at the end seems a bit suspicious. I think she's just a vision. But, who knows. Gods dammit, I can't wait for 2008. Luckily, we'll be getting that movie first. |

Yeah, great final.
Quote: | Well, if those four really are cylons. Who is the fifth? Starbuck? Thoughi tm ake sense those 4 though, they all did something treacherous somewhere in the past, especially the chief and the colonel(only a can't really think of any for Torri right now) |
