I'm definately getting it...I won't wait in line or anything, but I'm getting it. I have been reading these since fifth grade. Harry's life kind of coincides with mine...I began junior high when he started Hogwarts, and will be graduating high-school when he graduates. Spiffin eh?

WOW. I haven't met many people who will admit to THAT. (aside from myself!)
...yeah. I guess I might read it. I actually quit after book 5, because I couldn't stand to read any more. I might go ahead and read the rest of 5, then 6 and 7. I don't care so much though. And I was one of the original readers. I read HP before it was cool in the 4th grade.

got the book reserved the second they started taking them.
I wasn't very impressed with "Half-Blood Prince" so I'm hoping Deathly Hallows makes up for it.

I think that Half-Blood Prince was much less of a stand alone book and more of her setting the stage for Deathly Hallows.

I am looking forward to the last book, yet also sad that my friends and I won't have our conversations about various characters and what may happen next. I also agree with Link, the Hero of Time and found book 6 to be disappointing. Shall be interesting to see how that shall turn out in film.

The endingo f Half-Blood prince was brilliant. agree it was very much different from the previous ones, but not neccesarily worse.
and book 5 was just amazing. I enjoyed reading it very much.

I read book 5 once. I can't remember any of it now, and I don't have book 6. I'm so behind.

I loved the HP series until Book 5. At that point, the only way I can describe it to you is a train, traveling a million miles an hour, crashing into a brick wall. It fell apart for me. However, when Book 6 came out, I happened to come into the possession of a copy, so, I thought "What the hey?" and I read it. 6 was an improvement over 5, however, I still think that the series has lost its original charm.
However, despite all of that, I will probably end up reading Book 7. I won't go out and buy it opening day. I'll buy it whenever I see it at the store for a reasonable price. I'm preoccupied with about three other books, at the moment, and there are a bunch more backed up on that list that I have to get to. HP's in the rear of the line on that list.
