We're going to lose Hiro? And thanks for reminding me, lol. I started working on more of my post the other day and I hit writer's block. I will get it up tomorrow night. All I have to do tomorrow night is read several pages for AP Gov and study for a vocab test, so I'll have the time to get it finished, and indeed it shall.

No, Hiro get's lost if the RPG doesn't continue. Which is why I was asking, at some point in the future, will it continue? Because if not, I wanted to save Hiro and move him along to DSG. That's what I meant.

Bloody hell! For God sake, it happened again! This is the FOURTH time Vista's gone missing. And not only that, but, while I have an updated post on my jump drive, I had it even more updated on the PC, and now that's gone. Grrr! Stupid Windows Vista!

RM, you really need to get your money back, it's clear that Windows Vista is just not the rout to go right now.

I just posted. Due to everything that I've experienced tonight, however, it's not as much as I intended it to be, but it's good enough to get the RPG rolling again. So please, do post!

I'm so lost, I looked over the last few posts, but to be honest, it doens look like much has happened when I was offline for a MONTH. If this RPG does not continue, I'd like to know, so I can figure a way to save my character.

Tell you what. I'll make the post I've started working on comprehensive, meaning it'll cover all the ground I wanted to cover with the Vorticians in one post, letting us know everything they know that they think we need to know about this galaxy, as well as information about the planet we'll go to. Then I'll end the post with the aliens leaving and Reiman ordering the ship to the new coordinates, thereby speeding the entire process up.

This comprehensive post will be completed no later than tomorrow night, and if it isn't, unless I have some good excuse for not posting (which I doubt), you can all do what you wish.

RM, do you remember what you were going to do with this episode?

I'm just curious because I forgot it all and hoped that you remember.

I kinda forget too, lol. We were going to go to the planet with the alien ship and investigate there. Actually, I think we weren't even gonna get that far, but with the way things are progressing/will progress, it'll all work out.

So we'll go from here to visit the alien planet, where we'll go down and investigate, learning about the ship, which we'll find. Then we'll either end the episode somewhere in between there or continue on through the Hiraj coming and attacking the ship, prompting Reiman to order what he already planned on doing to happen: moving to the new ship. We'll have been preparing for the change before the Hiraj attack, but we'll not have moved over yet until they attack.

I ran into some roadblocks tonight with this being the family computer and all, but I did manage to finish the bulk of my post. Tomorrow I'm going to post information on the possible way home and the planet we'll be going to to get the new ship. At that point we'll leave the Ready Room and move on with the RPG.

If somebody could make one post in the meantime, that would be great.

Finally! Sorry, guys; my Internet's been down and then tonight I spend two hours with Dell again, hopefully actually fixing the problem once and for all, but I'm back on my computer now. I just posted my post, which I prepared for once I got online so that I could get it out of the way without taking more time.

When I first joined Return Quest I saw a lot of potential in it. Its one of those RPGs that if done correctly could live as long as DSG has. I too am beginning to think that if it doesnt start to pique my interest again I will Save my character as some of the others have said they might.

If youre having trouble ask for help. I tried to do an RPG and its not something one person can do alone. It doesnt matter if you have all the free time in the world or youre a good writer. You cant do it alone.

It might help if you shared some of the ideas you have with the rest of us. If you arent going to be able to posts hand the reins over to someone else. It could be a good project. I think perhaps the reason mine failed so quickly is because I was too proud to ask for help. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. Im sure there are any number of us willing to help hold this up.

Think about it.

I have plenty of ideas, SM. And Founder's been helping me out. Right now I'm reliant on you (or Founder) posting in Engineering in order to get the RPG rolling more

Also, I was the last person to post. I'm having no problems posting in the RPG. I want to continue it, but everyone else is slow right now.

Founder or, rather Ensign Farrel made it clear that he was in charge in engineering. I would prefer not to step on his feet.

Okay, then it's he who needs to post. (I added more to that post you quoted, btw.)

I just wanted to let everyone know why I havent been posting and why I will likely be posting a bunch this week.

On Tuesday I had my Confirmation class after school and I had a big term paper that I had to get done, along with other homework. I had absolutely no time to post that night. Then on Wednesday I had Speech and Debate and, later in the evening, my own guitar lesson, and I had a lot of homework to do in between and after that. On Thursday I got home at 3:40 and at 4:50 had to leave for my first guitar lesson that Im giving. At 6:00, instead of going to my usual second lesson, I went and babysat, babysitting until after 9:30. I hardly had any time to do homework (about 40 minutes) in that first interim time and so I had to do almost all my homework after I got home. Yesterday my uncle was visiting and we did some stuff with him, and I had some other things I had to do, so I couldnt post.

But this week I have Spring Break, no school until next Monday. Because of this I should be able to post a great deal. Plus this week was unusually busy for me, which is why I wasnt on STV much at all during the week. I should be posting in both RPGs tonight or this afternoon, all depending, and throughout the course of the week. My apologies for not getting posts out, but I really couldnt spare the time to make it happen. (Last night may be an exception, but I decided against it.) Im not going away this week, either, so that helps.

With regards to this RPG in particular, I intend to move us farther along tonight and let the pace pick up from what it's been.

I'm intent on giving us some steady progress, folks, so hopefully the interest level will rise along with it

Hi, this is T8917,

I just want to say i lost my interest for Star Trek and also for RPG-ing.
It left my mind, maybe never to return again.
This means i will not post, not now.. maybe never.
Thank you for letting me part of this RPG...

Goodbye,
T8917 *Rob*

Thanks, Tuvok8917. It's sad to see your interest in Trek slip away, but don't worry about leaving the RPG.

Due to a number of problems I've been having in recent days which have prevented me from posting, as well as a somewhat lack of interest in RP'ing myself, which has prevented the RPG from continuing, I have decided to end it, hence its locking. I wish I didn't have to do this, because I love the RPG, have tons of ideas for it, all that, but I've decided it's for the best.

Thank you for your patience and participation in the RPG. I may yet bring something like it back in the future, hence part of the reason why I decided not to follow through with the suggestion of another which has been made to me to hand over the reigns. That's not the only reason why, but it's at the forefront.

And so ends Return Quest. Thank you all.
