The Story
In late 2380, Starfleet Officer Sit Fito, former first officer of the space station Deep Space Guardian, used an army that had been building in secret to attack the station. A massive battle was fought for what is now known as the Elerran System, with hundreds if not thousands dying in the battle, which ended in a bitter victory. This was the first attack in a war that was fought between the Nautolian Empire, and the Alpha/Beta Quadrants, a conflict that would plunge the Federation into a war that they could not afford.

The war hit the Federation hard, as they were still rebuilding the fleet from losses inflicted during the Dominion War. Starfleet was forced to stretch out their already stretched and resource deprived fleet across the quadrant in effort to repel Fito's war machine. His forces were vast and he gained allies through either deceit or threats. The Cardassians through his right hand man, Oyet the Gorn through his apprentice, Aia Shoran the Hydrans, through threats of genocide the Remans through promises of power. With the Klingons out of the war due to a civil war and the Romulans having fallen to the Nautolians, Starfleet was forced to wage this war alone. Fito continued to spread until it looked like he could win this terrible conflict. However, the most unlikely of allies appeared in the form of the Dominion. Fito's closest allies, the new Cardassian Union, quickly fell under the combined might of the Bajorans and the Dominion. This was the beginning of the end for Fito's short rule. Through the efforts of several crewmen from Deep Space Guardian, the Gorn woke up to Fito's actions and prevented their joining of the Nautolian Empire. The Romulans liberated themselves through the efforts of a hidden fleet near their home world. The Hydrans were freed through the Federation in one of the largest operations in Starfleet history. A massive fleet, led by Fleet Admiral Ni, flooded into Hydran space and fought to free their home world.

The U.S.S. Horizon, Sovereign class, was one of the many vessels that fought to free the former Federation allies, the Hydrans. There were only two Sovereign class starships in the fleet, the Horizon and the Monarch. Both vessels were instrumental in freeing the Hydrans. While they achieved victory, the unspeakable occurred in Sector 001: Sit Fito invaded Earth. The remaining ships from Operation Methane headed back to Earth in effort to join the rebelling forces against the Nautolians.

Starship History:

U.S.S. Horizon Important Locations
Exterior
Nacelle

The Nacelles hold the warp coils which are neccesary for the vessel to enter warp speeds. The coils contained within create the subspace distorion field which is bent around the ship, allowing for faster then light travel.

Interior
Main Bridge

Located on deck one, the bridge is the nerve center of the parent vessel. It is from here, that the commanding officer can easily supervise starship operation, ranging from the vessels course, to the tactical systems. For the most part, the bridge is where the senior officers are stationed (The Medical Officer and Engineer are found in their respective areas).

Observation/Conference Lounge

Located in the rear of Deck One, the Observation lounge is used for a varity of things, including senior staff meetings. The room is also able to be used for special receptions and celebrations. Across the side with the windows, is a wall with several models of Starships previously named Horizon, which are set on either side of a large display terminal. The differnt models range over the course of human history, including the ECS Horizon (A J-Class Cargo ship from the Earth Cargo Service), a Daedalus class, Miranda Class, and of course, a Sovereign class model.

Captain's Ready Room

Located on the Starboard side of Deck One, the ready room has many uses for the vessels commanding officer, ranging from a private workspace, an emergency cabin, and a place to hold small meetings with one or two other people. While usually used for the Captain, it is intended for use by the vessels commanding officer, regardless of rank.

Main Engineering

Engineering is located on Deck Sixteen, this room is where all starship maintenance is organized. The Chief Engineer can keep an eye on the warp core, while directing the engineering staff in their duties throught the ship.

Main Sickbay
Located on Deck Seven, sickbay takes care of the crews medical needs, minor or major. This is where the CMO is stationed, although she is by no means limited to this room, and is often found in other areas of the ship in down time. Deck 16 contains an 'outpost' for sickbay, incase of an extream emergency.

Main Shuttlebay
Taking up a significant part of the aft section of decks 6, 7, 8, and 9. The large bay can handel and store several shuttlecraft, and runabouts. The secondary bay, in the engineering hull, is smaller, but can handel the neccesary flight operations.

U.S.S. Horizon Embarked Craft
Escape Pods

The tiny craft are located in various spots on the ship, and are meant for use, should the vessel be in a situation where a sudden evacuation is needed. The pods could each support several people for roughly as many days, and are capable of planetary landing, as they have heat shields.

Captain's Yatch "Humboldt"

The Humboldt is accessed on Deck Sixteen, and is used for a various reasons, such as special diplomatic missions. The craft can travel at warp speeds, and is able to support several people.

Workbee

The ship contains several workbees for various reasons, including hull repair. The workbees are not stored in a shuttlebay, but instead, stored in cargobays that have external access. The tiny craft are also capable of transporting cargo, when special cargo containers are attacked to the rear.

Type-11 Shuttlecraft

The Type-11 Shuttlecraft is a small, warp capable craft that can transport a small group of people, the cockpit has seating for two persons, and can dock with other types of shuttles. The vessel as a limited armament, which includes Tachyon Bursts.

Mission Scoutship

The Scoutship is larger then the average craft on the ship, and is armed with phasers and torpedoes. The Scoutship is warp capable, and is flown by a single pilot.

Danube-Class Runabout

The Danube-Class Runabout, a warp capable craft armed with phasers and micro torpedoes, is used for many things, such as hauling cargo, personell, and other types of missions, with a possible long range use.

Type-9 Shuttlecraft

The Type-9 Shuttlecraft is a small, warp capable craft for use in shortrange missions, or when transporters are not usible. Despit the vessels limiations, the shuttle can do a various things in many uses.

Type-9A Cargo Shuttle

The name describe the shuttles use, transporting cargo. The shuttle is mainly used when the transporters cannot be used, or the cargo in question cannot go though the transporter.

Danais

The Danais is the same type of shuttle that is named Argo on the Enterprise/ Like her counterpart, the Danais contains a buggy, used on rough terrains if long distance travel is needed, and the shuttle cannot land at the exact destination.

Hand-held Weapons
The Horizon stores many types of weapons in the ships armoaries. However, some weapons (such as the phasers), can be found in one of the several weapons lockers found on differnt location on the vessel. Typically, only Starfleet Officers can access the weapons locker, and the armoaries require an access code spoken by the requestee before one can enter.
Type-I Phaser

This small hand unit, is a much smaller version of the phaser. Typically used in situations where it would not be proper to use a larger weapon (Such as diplomatic missions, or 'undercover' work). The phaser's small sized should not be miss judged as it is fully capable of the settings found in the larger Type-II unit, albiet, at a lower power with only eight settings. The settings of this unit range from stun to heat through disruption to disintegration.
Type-II Phaser

This larger unit, is the standard-issue sidearm within the ranks of Starfleet. The unit is more powerful then the Type-I, and has sixteen settings, which range from mild stun to complete disintegration. The energy stored in the phasers is considerable, and has been...appropiated for other uses in many differnt situations. The phasers can not only be adjusted for varible power settings but the beam width can also be adjusted, allowing for a single target, or multiple targets per shot.
Level One: lowest setting, Light Stun, capable of stunning most base humanoids for approximately five minutes. According to Starfleet regulations all phasers must be stored at this setting. Possesses enough force to break large urns.
Level Seven: Capable of vaporizing noranium carbide alloy
Level Ten: Kill setting, capable of killing a biological organism.
Level Sixteen: Capable of vaporizing rock to widen an opening in a lava tube partially blocked by rubble, or blowing large holes in walls.
Type-III Phaser

The Type-III is the larger of the hand units, and is shaped into a rifle formation. The rifle has at least 16 power settings, fully-autonomous recharge capability, multiple-target acquisition, and gyrostabilization. There has been times when the complexity of the weapon has caused many to say the rifle is not a good field weapon. Despite all of this, the rifle is more powerful then the Type-II Phaser.
There are several variations to the rifle, including one for use in a Zero Gravity enviroment (or lack thereof). The Type-III can also fire in bolts, rather then just a steady beam. Other modifications can include various types of scope, barrel and power cells.
Photon Grenade
Small short ranged variable-yield explosive devices, the Photon Grenade generate a powerful electromagnetic pulse. The Grenades can stun humanoids in an enclosed space, and when placed into a mortar, the Grenades can be launched towards targets that are not in the direct line of stight.
Tetryon Pulse Launcher
The Tetryon Pulse Launcher is a weapon that is capable of firing pulsed tetryon particles.
Isomagnetic Disintegrator

This shoulder-mounted artillery weapon is large, and is similar to an ancient Human bazooka.
Compression Phaser Rifle

This weapon is an alternate choice to the Type-III Phaser, and is also a rifle type weapon. Powerful, and are availible for use should there be close quarters combat, or surface combat. It is not unusual for Starfleet Officers to use these weapons when the goal is to take over a Starship, or facility. When used in wide beam mode, at least five indivisuals can be taken out at once.
Stun Grenade
This weapon sole use is to stun a group of people, usually a crowd, if the situation looked to me dangerious, but risk of using convetional means was clear.
Various Equipment
Communicator

Better known as the Combadge, the communicator as a varity of uses, which allow more then just communication over large distances. The device also contains a Universal Translator, to allow people of differnt languages speak to each other, with the same understanding, as if they were speaking the same langauge. The Combadge also allows the transporter to lock onto the device, allowing for faster and safer transports. In an emergancy, Combadges can be altered for a varity of uses, including as acting like a subspace beacon, or perhaps even recoarding 'logs' and 'last wishes' should someone die. If the combadge is damaged, an emergency distress signal is emitted. When one 'looses' their status in Starfleet (Retirement, or arrest etc...) one must take off the combadge, as it symbolizes removing the uniform.
Tricorder

The Starfleet tricorder is a small sensory device, slightly bigger then the human hand. The device is dominated by the display screen, and can preform a varity of functions. The device is not the usual flip open tricorders, but instead a slim PADD like device. The tricorder can interface with ship controls and functions, such as forcfield controls.
Divisions
Divisions are divided by color, and usually signify the field the officer is in, although this is not always the case. The officers actuall occupation may have something to do with the division color he/she wears.
Command Division

(Command; Helm/Conn)
Officers in the command division specialize in command and control functions on starbases, aboard starships, and at Starfleet Command. Members of the command division are trained in leadership and have tactical training allowing them to decisively take action in organizing and mobilizing Starfleet crews to perform missions. Command officers include most all of the admiralty, captains, executive officers, adjutants, pilots and flight controller (or helmsman). Command division personnel also fill posts as tactical officers and sometimes in ordinance departments.
An officer who belongs to the command division sometimes wears the division color of another department which they specialized in if said command officer were to become a security chief, engineer, or command a science department.
Operations Division

(Engineering; Security; Operations)
The operations division is the corps of officers and crewmen within Starfleet who specialize in services and military functions on starbases, aboard starships, and at Starfleet Command. Members of the operations division may specialize in a ship or base service, staff officers, administration, or military operations. Operations officers include engineers, security and tactical, and some service specializations such as communications. Operations division personnel also fill administrative posts as yeomen, personnel officers and portmasters. By the 24th century, this division had new postings established on ships, such as operations managers (aka chiefs of operations).
Science Division

(Science; Medical; Communcations)
The sciences division is the corps of officers within Starfleet who specialize in both scientific and medical research and control functions on starbases, aboard starships, and at Starfleet Command. Members of the sciences division may specialize in sensors, research, theoretical and physical laboratory work, biological studies, and also as technicians, medics, and surgeons.
Officers who belong to the sciences division sometimes wear the division color of a department other than that which they specialize in. For example, if a science officer were to become a department head, he might wear the colors of command division, or if he has a dual specialty in an operations division department, an alternate color might be worn.
Ranks
The ranking system is used to organize the jobs of many people in the hierarchy of authority.
Starfleet
The Starfleet rank system has a long history dating back to early space explorers of the Earth Starfleet and its predecessor naval and military forces.

Logan joined the Academy several years later, and met Ian Xavier and Jonathan Archer, forming a friendship with the two, and several others. Typical of a cadet Logan thought he was invinvible, a trait that spread though the 'group'. Shortly after graduation, and before his first assignment, the group was at a bar, enjoying a few drinks. Things were going good, untill a group of Klingons had overheard the friends talking, words were exchanged, and a fight eurrpted. Logans large size and build allowed him to take care of himself, however, he was drunk, and was not able to prevent the death of one of the persons in the group. Mere moments later, Thomas Xavier and T'Sa, both close to Ian rushed in and saved the group, albiet at the cost of a life, and almost a second as T'Sa had been injured. This event changed everyones lives, and they all learned to move on. Logan strived to be the best over the years, and continued to gain rank. In 2381, Logan was in Command of an Ambassador class starship, when he was sent to arrest Eqan, a former Starfleet officer trying to sell secrets to the Nautolians. After his arrest, Logan attended Eqan's trial, then resumed his duties. Shortly before Operation Methane in late 2381, Logan was given command of the USS Horizon. Currently, Logan is married to S'Hara Cage.

Name: Hikarai Chumatsu

Hikarai comes to the Horizon with both Starfleet and Marine training and a knack for alien languages as a sort of hobby.

Name: Eqan
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Position: Chief Tactical Officer
Home World: Unknown
Age: [45] 45
Birthdate: Unknown
Height 5'11
Weight 160 lbs
Gender: Male (Presumably)
Species: Chameloid
Description: Medium height, muscular male. Full beard and long brown hair. His "natural" form is unknown. For the most part, he looks like a European male.
Biography: Born on a Federation colony, Hakton VII, in the Demilitarized Zone. He knows very little of his real family. He was raised by Human colonist. When asked about his past, they could offer very little. When he was a baby, he was left at their doorstep with a small PADD. It simply stated his name and what he was. Eqan was a Chameloid, An almost mythological species to the Federation. They have the ability to transform into any humanoid species, but not an inanimate object like a Founder. He was raised with the Human family and then adopted the Human form. His family was originally from Scotland on Earth and he even absorbed their accents. His family kept his secret about him being a Chameloid. They didn't want to risk him being treated differently and even unfairly. Eqan grew up amongst the mix of Human and Cardassian colonists. He tried to stay out of the struggle of the monoforms, although he was a little biased towards the Humans, due to his parentage. His parents discouraged him from joining Starfleet due to their anger about the treaty with the Cardassians. Eqan instead joined the Maquis a year after it was created. He exposed what he was to them and the Maquis used his shape shifting skills to the max. He was famous for infiltrating a Cardassian colony, posing as Gul Evek. Eqan succeeded in his mission and helped destroy the barracks in the colony. The Cardassians joined the Dominion and wiped out the Maquis. Eqan returned to his home colony and went into hiding. The Dominion traced the Maquis refugees to the planet and destroyed over half the colony. They murdered Eqan's parents, even though they were not Maquis. He shape shifted into a Vorta and fled the planet on a Dominion shuttle. Eqan had no where to turn with his parents dead and the Maquis wiped out. All he had was the Federation. He went to Earth and quickly joined Starfleet. Eqan dedicated his time to his studies so he could quickly be assigned to a ship. He posed as a Human throughout the Academy, but when he finally was posted onto a ship, he revealed to Starfleet what he was. Eqan was then put into a special intelligence unit in Starfleet. He was sent to infiltrate various Dominion facilities, ships, and stations. Eqan succeeded in every mission he was sent. He rose through the ranks quickly and by the end of the war, he was a Lt. Commander. Eqan was on Cardassia during the battle over Cardassia. He had been trapped there when the Dominion pulled their entire forces there. The Chameloid was posing as a Vorta and trying to gain information. Weyoun, the head Vorta on the Cardassia, discovered what he was and sentenced him to death. As he was being led to die by Cardassians, he was freed when a riot broke out. The Cardassians gave a loud cry saying "For Cardassia!!!!" and joined the riot. Eqan shape shifted into a Cardassian Vole and kept to the shadows. After several hours he regained his Human form and found the war to be over. The Dominion had been defeated. He returned to Earth and was promoted for his time on Cardassia. Eqan was made Commander and assigned to the USS Defiant. After the mission ended due to complications with the Nautolian War, Eqan was left floating in between positions. He returned to Earth and every single day, he heard about how the losses were mounting for Starfleet. Three months into the war, Eqan had had enough and set out to end it. He made a petition to the Federation Council to peacefully end this struggle with the Nautolians. They denied his request and he decided to peacefully end the way on his own. Eqan attempted to personally seek out a representative of the Nautolians and give up Federation secrets to them in an effort for the Nautolians to win the war faster and to minimize the losses. He stole a shuttle, but the USS Diplomat stopped him from his mission and brought him back to Earth. He was arrested and sentenced to ten years imprisonment on Jaros II. Eqan had been there since the Nautolian war. Little did he know, his freedom would soon come...

Name: Marilyn Addison
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Position: Chief Medical Officer
Home World: Setlik III
Age: [39] 39
Birthdate: August 18, 2342
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 103 lbs.
Gender: Female
Species: 1/2 Human & 1/2 Betazoid
Description: See Picture
BIO: Marilyn Addison was born on the Federation colony of Setlik III to human and Betazoid parents. The Setlik III colony was located on the Federation-Cardassian border. Marilyn's parents, both civilians, had been volunteer workers on Setlik III, having been among one of the first groups to head to the newfounded Federation colony. Her mother, the human parent, had been pregnant with Marilyn at the time of the move to the fledgling colony. Marilyn had been born and raised on Setlik III as the colony flourished. The Addison had lived a quiet, peaceful, uneventful life on Setlik III, until the year of 2347 and the start of the Federation-Cardassian War. Setlik III had been one of the first victims of the Cardassian Wars, when the Cardassians struck the colony, in the 2349. This event became to be known as the Setlik III Massacre and is one of the most infamous events in the history of the Cardassian Wars. Marilyn, at the ripe age of five, had lost both of her parents in the massacre, becoming an orphan. At the time, she had only been beginning to learn and understand her empathic Betazoid powers. With the loss of her parents, a truly traumatic experience for a five-year old child, something in Marilyn's mind had locked away her empathic abilities, repressing them deep down in the depths of her mind. The orphan was eventually rescued by the Federation and taken back to Earth, for counseling. Marilyn went through grief counseling and other forms of counseling, dealing with her empathic abilities, which were never regained, until she was eventually placed into foster care, a retired Starfleet officer and a professor Starfleet Medical Academy and his wife. Marilyn was about ten at the time. She lived with her foster parents until the age of twenty, upon which she decided to join Starfleet, with some influence from her foster parents. Deep down, her motivation for joining Starfleet was to try and help people across the galaxy, so no one else would ever have to experience something like the Setlik III Massacre, which Marilyn, herself, was forced to experience. She eventually graduated from the Academy, salutatorian of her class. She was given the opportunity to serve at any place of her choosing. She eventually chose a position aboard Deep Space 2, as the Chief Medical Officer. Marilyn served aboard DS2 as CMO for some time, until the outbreak of the Dominion War. Marilyn was transferred to the U.S.S. Cortz, as her CMO. Marilyn and the Cortz had been involved with Operation Return and several other Starfleet operations in the war, until the Cortz was destroyed midway through the war. Marilyn had been one of the Cortz survivors. She was assigned to a new vessel, the Yellowstone, after the destruction of the Cortz, where she participated in the Battle of Cardassia, the final battle of the Dominion War. At the end of the war, Marilyn was awarded several medals, before being given her position back at DS2. However, with the outbreak of the Nautolian War, she was assigned to the Sovereign-class vessel, the U.S.S. Horizon, where she continues to serve to this day.

She remained in this dormant state until she was discovered by the Ferengi marauding team, in 2369. It took the Ferengi awhile to fully understand the android and all of her properties. The Ferengi captain who had found the android, DaiMon Targo, had used Charlotte for his own devious purposes, turning the android into a tool of pleasure. Targo was an infamous Ferengi marauder captain who had links to the Orion Syndicate. Targo was unlike your typical Ferengi. The Ferengi marauder captain was a malicious, treacherous, sick individual. Eventually, Targo grew tired of his little toy and sold Charlotte to the Federation for a "modest" fee in 2377. The android was shipped to the Daystrom Institute, where it was studied by the Federation's top scientist. Luckily, the Federation already had previous knowledge on androids, due to the famous Soong-type Android, Data. Charlotte was reworked to erase her pleasure serving programming and replaced it with a scientific program. Charlotte was eventually released from the Institute, in 2380. She chose to join Starfleet, due to her newfound yearning to explore and see the galaxy. She graduated from the Academy, with many honors, in record time. She was allowed to skip the rank of Ensign, due to her skills demonstrated in the Academy. Unfortunately, she joined Starfleet around the time of the Nautolian War. Charlotte was put to use during the Nautolian War and now serves as the Chief Science Officer on the U.S.S. Horizon, where she longs to see new horizons across the entire galaxy.

Name: B'roq Lohta
Rank: Lieutenant, Junior Grade
Position: Chief Counselor
Home World: Bolarus IX
Age: [Starting Age] 65
Birthdate: 2317
Height 5'10
Weight 200 lbs.
Gender: Male
Species: Bolian
Description: A short, fat Bolian. He usually has a scowl on his face. Blue skin tone and bald head.
Biography: B'roq was born on the Bolian home world, Bolarus IX, but he and his family quickly moved to Earth. He was raised with Human traditions more then he was Bolian. At a young age, B'Roq was fascinated with leaders of dozens of worlds that elected the way of peace, rather then war. He joined Starfleet, impressed with the organization of "peace and exploration". However, things were not so peaceful for him during his Academy days. An extremely arrogant Human tormented the weaker, peace-loving Bolian through out his days at the Academy. In honor of his hero, Ghandi, he simply took the taunts and jeers. This led him to be very closed off from others through as many didn't care to be his friend. B'roq disliked every position in Starfleet save for counselor. He felt it was the only position that allowed a person to help others through something other then a phaser or a hypospray. He graduated and finally became free of his tormentor. However, B'roq was a walking contradiction. An emotionless, closed off counselor that listened to the problems of others. He was eventually able to serve aboard DS7, a station that would eventually be run by Thomas Xavier. He served as the junior counselor under the chief counselor of the station. The chief counselor constantly questioned B'roq's broodish nature and wanted him to be more upbeat as that made patients feel more comfertable. B'roq simply said he would think about it and remained at the station for the next ten years. He eventually made it to the USS San Antonio and served as a counselor. Captain Tulak was the captain of the vessel, even back then in 2347. B'roq went on to serve as a junior officer until being offered a promotion to lieutenant, junior grade. He accepted and reluctantly left the San Antonio for a position back at Earth. There, he remained through the Borg conflicts, the Dominion war, and even most of the Nautolian war. When the Nautolian war neared it's end, B'roq had the urge to return to a starship, not satisfied with working back at Earth. He was assigned to the USS Horizon as chief counselor. His low rank was mainly a result of him resisting promotions. It made him feel overbearing and after being tormented by his superior room mate at the Academy, he felt it bred the worst in people as the Human would rub it in B'roq's face that he was a higher level of cadet. B'roq is not the most popular counselor in Starfleet, but was deemed worthy of the powerful Horizon.

They owned a J class freighter, having obtained it cheaply from a Zakdorn owned Surplus Depot. From an early age, she went on many cargo runs and taught how to pilot. Because of being taught so early and having so much experiance with it, at the age of ten, she was able to out-pilot dozens of other experianed and much older pilots in the system. Having been persuaded by a relative in Starfleet, she sought out to join Starfleet and went to the Academy on Earth. Her parents, who were very attached to her, disliked the fact she left for Starfleet. Not because they hated Starfleet or the Federation, but because they would be losing their little girl. She left for Starfleet at a young age and quickly proved herself, despite how small and frail she looked. Dawn knew the only thing she wanted to do was pilot a vessel, not medical, science, tactical, engineering, or the many other spots on a starships. She joined an impressive flight team named "Gamma Squadron". They went on to compete with squadrons from seven other worlds in a friendly game. Suffice it say, things got out of hand, but Dawn managed to make her team win. She graduated around the age of 19 and was given dozens of awards for her piloting skills. Amidst the Nautolian War, she was sent to pilot the Horizon. Because of her youth, many feel that she was a terrible choice, especially when good pilots were needed for the war. Name: Isaac Cross
Rank: None
Position: Civilian Worker, Sunset Lounge
Home World: New Liberty
Age: [?] Unknown
Birthdate: Unknown
Height 6'0
Weight 177 lbs.
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Description: A giant scar over his left eye. Long, scraggly hair.
Biography: Virtually nothing is known about Isaac's past. He was an orphan, born on the civilian run world of New Liberty. It was founded by a Human sleeper ship, centuries ago. New Liberty is just outside of Federation jurisdiction and ripe with resources. It was paradise at first...until the Orion Syndicate came. They raped and despoiled the planet, plunging it into a criminal underworld. The politicians that run it are corrupt, the police are on the pay roll of the Syndicate, and everyone else fights to stay alive. Isaac, having grown up on the streets, knew that the only was to survive was through the Syndicate. Proving himself assisting in a big heist of the then Chancellor, he was allowed to join the Syndicate. At the age of twenty, he joined a Syndicate ship that had attempted to hijack a Dominion Battleship and kidnap the Jem'Hadar to be sold as slaves. They had hoped the Jem'Hadar would make good guards for powerful leaders, but their fanatical loyalty to the Founders rendered this impossible. The Jem'Hadar fought back and slashed his face with a kar'takin. Due to the severe lack of medical facilites and the high prices of one, he was unable to get a replacement eye and the scar healed horribly. However, his loyalty was proven and he made an undercover agent within Starfleet during the end of the Dominion War. Not wanting to go through Starfleet, he usually worked as a civilian and learned everything he could. He found mountains worth of intelligence this way. Isaac would jump from ship to ship, gaining Starfleet allies, learning secrets, and sending the information back to the Syndicate. He would never stay on a starship or space station longer then three years in fear of being caught. Right before the Nautolian War, he was staying on DSG. He feared staying on the station, citing the chief of security frightened him. However, it lucky he stayed. Isaac hid in Guardian City during Fito's attack against the station. Immediately after, the Syndicate contacted him, saying that Fito demanded that all Nautolian technology left behing be immediately sent back to him. Isaac, having learned many things about the senior staff, knew where the technology was located and signaled to a Syndicate ship that was coming to the station to take it. A few weeks after that, he left and stayed on New Liberty for a few months, working small missions for the Syndicate in the name of the Nautolian Empire. When Romulus fell, he bet several others the Nautolians would take Earth soon. He would be half right as the Nautolians would attempt to take Earth and fail. The Syndicate sent him to the Horizon, learning from a corrupt officer that it was meant to be part of a big operation in Hydran space. Believing that the Federation would possibly be attempting to liberate the Hydrans and change the events of the war, sent Isaac. They wanted him to report exactly what was going to happen so they could warn their evil allies, the Nautolians. He immediately went aboard the Horizon, stating that he sought out work. Cage allowed him to come aboard, but warned that the starship saw a lot of fighting because of the War. Isaac, pretending to be ever persistant, asked to stay aboard. He discovered that the Horizon was to be part of Operation Methane. Isaac attempted to warn the Syndicate, so they could warn the Nautolians, but something happened and his signal was blocked. Trapped on the ship and unable to warn the Syndicate, he watched the battle erupt. Eventually, the Horizon fought on Earth against the Nautolians, just as Isaac suspected would eventually happen. He had hoped the Nautolians would win, but they did not. After the costly battle, Isaac signaled the Syndicate about his failure. He was threatened with death if he was ever seen by a Syndicate member. Fearing for his life, Isaac stayed aboard the Horizon during the reconstruction period, post-Nautolian war. Bitter about his fall from power, he sought a way to prove himself to the Syndicate again...even if it meant hurting the Federation.
