PostMon Jan 15, 2007 2:32 pm    Professional Psychics?

I got a reading done by a professional psychic last night, and I am still very skeptical, but was surprised to hear some of what she knew.

I went to the reading session with my Girlfriend April, and her mom, her mom was the first to be read, and I'm told that the first thing the psychic said to her was that she was going to have a grandson very soon. (This was before the psychic even met me or April) Then April had her turn, and when it came time to draw the psychic cards, she randomely drew (from a deck of ~40 unique cards) love, marriage, and baby... Ok, a bit of a coincidence...

Then it was my turn. One of the first things she told me is that I need to be a psychologist, which took me a bit off guard, because I hadn't considered it, though human behavior is VERY ineteresting to me. Then out of nowhere she said "Your employer is going to pay for your schooling." Which is REALLY creepy, since I JUST got approved for tuition re-imbursment last week. She also mentioned something about my strong moral objection to strip clubs; really specific there, and accurate, though kinda random. She then said that I would soon acquire land, which may very easily be true if my grandma moves out of her house. (Creepy again) Then she had me draw cards, and I drew the marriage, passion, and baby cards. Wow...

Then there were some incorrect statments like: "You've been thinking about joining the army." (not at all), "You're going on a trip to mexico." (not happening), "You're going to be on a soccer team soon." (no way).

Still kinda fun and interesting. Anyone else ever get a reading?

Me and some of my friends have tried to get one. We have gone to the same place twice though, and each time we go they are "closed". I am kind of glad though because I was actually kind of scared since the house and the people looked really weird. (Surprise, surprise )

I guess it's all for the better though...no point in wasting money on that when there are so many better things to spend it on.

Yeah I have had one before. But it was a sad reading. I got the pain, suffering and death cards. The next week i found out I had cancer spore thingies. It wasn't fun at all. BUT I am fine now ^_^ So all is well. It's funny because if she hadn't told me about the death card, she said i would suffer greatly. I don't think i would have one to the doctor when i felt the lumpy things. So yeah...Creepy, most def.

i don't believe in Psychics. They are either frauds or crazy.

I usually get the once a month. Its really creepy how acurate they can be. I see different women everytime, and each of them come up with something quite similar. Its been pretty eerie.

Thats because they speak about general stuff. The fact multiple psychics get the same result proofs that.

If i would study what people experience in general throughout their lives(death of a housemate or relative, new pets, relationships, career moves) i can become a psychic too.
