Lets have a poll and some questions on the side.

To what charities do you donate money?
Which charities do you think need money the most?

If Red cross is your pick, please reply by saying your second choice as i think most people would vote Red cross

Also say if you vote for only one of the multiple organizations in an option.


IMO, Next to Red cross i think UNICEF is the most important. I donate to WWF though.... But i'm thinking of cancelling those donations and give to IFAW as i think the bigger organizations get enough money and IFAW gets less and could use more(don't ask me why though)

Next to that i think World Food Program needs the money the most as their projects require a lot of fund for minimal result.

I donate to the Red Cross, just because I have alot more trust in them than I do many of the other organizations.

I would never give a dime to the UN, or anything under directly under their control. I would never give any money directly to the government either. (Although I do pay taxes, so I'm sure I am giving to them either way.)

I don't give to "animal welfare" charities because I think there are way to many people who need aid. To put animal welfare ahead of that seems silly (to me at least).

Primarily I give to organizations that are going to help suffering people, like the International Response Fund or Crisis Relief Funds that are part of the Red Cross.
