When should Voyager really gotten home in your opinion?

- they were home, i just dont think some of them realized it. I'm one of those who think they should have stayed in the DQ. They've all changed so much from that journey, it would have been horrible if they'd had to have been torn apart. Though it probably didnt happen...then again we never really saw what happened after words. All we really know (canon-wise) was that Janeway was made Admiral, so that probably means everything was fine and dandy. But still...

Voyager was there home, and they all made friends with enemys and had to adapt to their enviroment which ment sometimes bending or braking SF regs. Even Janeway said that Voyager is much more than a ship to them (Year of Hell)

Personally i would have loved to have seen them get home only to find out that it wasnt what they had left. So i go with my first statement - that they were already home.

Here's how you tie in a movie after Voyager returned home and make it work....

We have the Voyager crew now home - Starfleet gets a visit from the 29th century Temporal police (or wahtever) and they say something is wrong and that the Temporal Cold War (nice way to tie in ENTERPRISE) that ended 200 or so years prior, has escalated into an ACTUAL TEMPORAL WAR 200 years from now that "shouldnt have taken/shouldnt be taking" place.

Because there was interaction with some borg something or other in the slipstream that caused teh initial Borg Transmission to the DQ from the ENTERPRISE episode to arrive in Borg space earlier than it should have, and the Borg invade the AQ/BQ before we can defend against them and they assimilate the quadrant before Archer and NX-01 can stop the Temporal Cold War from ending, effectively allowing it to become an actual "shooting" war.

Those are my thoughts anyway.

I would have liked to have seen the show have an 8th season, because in season 7, they tried so hard to clue things up, relationships and storylines were slightly rushed...like Tom and B'Elanna's wedding, Seven and Chakotay's "relationship" and the departure of Neelix. I reckon the 8th season, had their been one, would have been fantastic. They'd have had more time and opportunity for the fabulous storylines crammed into season 7. I think it would have been highly rewarding!

They should have stayed in the Delta Quadrant.

Maybe they should have stayed at "the 37's" planet and helped the people there to build a new Fedration.

OK, that would have made us miss one of the best scenes in Voyager, the one where Janeway and Chakotay walks into Cargobay 1 to say goodbye to thhose who wanted to stay on the planet and there's no one there. But think of the opportunities! We would have had lots of episodes and books with the crew. There could also have been new Star trek series based on the development of a new Federation in the Delta Quadrant and somewhere in the future, contact could have been established between the old Federation and the new Federation.

I used to think that Voyager should come home but after "Endgame" and the scenario in the "after-Endgame" books where the crew is split up, I'm beginning to change my mind.

Well, I must say the idea of beginning a new Federation in the Delta Quadrant is and would have been really cool! But it would have been against the rules lol...the Federation (and the Romulans, Cardassian I think and heaven knows who else) have this treaty thingy that says that they cannot expand their territory into other Quadrants! Something along those lines anyway...
