				| I watched the entire thing, paying close attention most of the time, save for some STVing and stuff (and being STV's Reporter for the Gerald Ford State Funeral, lol).

Coverage of the funeral for Former President Gerald Ford has begun on all networks; the President's casket is approaching the WWII Memorial.

I was actually there about an hour before the casket arrived - wish I could have stayed, but we couldn't. There was a *huge* crowd though.

Wow, that's cool! Too bad you couldn't've stayed. I did notice the size of the crowd, though. Amazing!

I wish I could have, but I just couldn't. I was very sad to read that not many important people showed up for the funeral...

				| Tom Brokaw did an excellent job at the service today. He always was my favorite television newsman. I thought his speech at the service was very thoughtful and stayed far enough away from current politics so that it was nice.
