Wow!
I really love all of the colours you've used on all of them!
The detail in them really work well, it's not demanding enough to pull you around so you don't know what to look at, just the little subtle things! Really well done!

There like top of the line wallpapers, i especially love the first one its so cool Voyager shooting phasers in to the black hole.

He use's Photoshop CS2 and 3D'S Max.

Your Welcome. Well i can't answer for him but about my experince, usual can take from a few hours to a few days to a couple of weeks. Just depeneds on how hard, and what you want to get in the finished product.

Haven't been back here in a while, thanks for your comments guys.
In regards to how long they take, Patrick is right in that it can vary heavily. Sometimes if I have a very clear sense of direction and the image isn't too complicated I can do it in about 2 hours give or take. Others I may change things along the way so I might go at it for a few days... usually don't have the patience for longer (move onto something else ).
robbie if you have Photoshop and initially at least quite a bit of patience, there's nout to stop you. Experimentation (and enjoying that process) is absolutely the key.

Oooh, I like the "Dare to Explore" one better. It seems to have a much stronger focus than "Futile". That and I like the colors better
