I am moving to Portland soon! I am quite excited. Although, I still need to take care of a few things here in Corvallis, so I am hoping we can get our affairs wrapped up quickly.

90 miles, but I have to move 3 houses of stuff, plus my house has A LOT of stuff in it, so I will need to take multiple trips.

My new house has a fireplace. It is also in Portland rather than Corvallis, so it is quite a bit more expensive. I will be very happy in Portland because it is big and there is actually things to do there, places that are open past 9PM, and all my friends are there. Also, I don't have to rely on my car, since the bus and rail system there is amazing. I will be much happier there.

I am currently under the influence of intoxication. It is quite fun to walk around and I am eating a bagel. In other news, the wife is telling me that Newsboys is going to be at the Oregon State Fair, so we will be going.

Yay! I finally got moved. Lots of packed stuff and boxes are around. Its cool though.

Anyways, I had surgery yesterday. I had an orthoscopic surgery, they cut three little incisions, one for the camera, one for the clamp, and one for the scalpel. I had to have my appendix removed. Now I have to stay very still to avoid pain, and I cant move around much, but its getting much better.

Yes, I am quite happy that I finally am moved here. We are slowly unpacking...very slowly.

Yeah, drinking is fun, I drink not often anymore, but just once in awhile. I used to be pretty bad but I am better at it now.

Surgery is much better. I am supposed to be recovered in 3-5 weeks, but then again, I was supposed to stay in the hospital for 48 hours, and I was home within 9. I am feeling really good, I drove yesterday, and I have been slowly doing more and more. I am supposed to lift no more than 10 pounds (for 3 weeks), but I am feeling much better, so I am now doing like 25 or 30, whatever the bulldog weighs.

I suppose so. I have a turkey in my freezer. It looks tasty, but then again, it's a lot of work. If I started cooking it, I might have Dan peering in my windows or something...

Marriage is still amazing. We moved her grandmother up with us from Corvallis over the past few days, that went surprisingly well. We have more pets than ever in the house, her grandmothers dog and cat is here and we rescued a cat from getting hit by a car yesterday.
