PostWed Dec 20, 2006 7:37 pm    Colorado Under Seige of Snow

I don't know if this qualifies so much as world news, but it's big news for this state, as well as parts of two others. I'm experiencing this blizzard as I type, lol, and I don't like it one bit.

Storm Could Drop Up to 2 Feet of Snow on Colorado; Hundreds of Flights Canceled

DENVER Heavy snow blew across Colorado on Wednesday, canceling hundreds of airline flights and shutting down a major highway, as a major storm plowed onto the Plains after pummeling New Mexico.

What joy! Looks like we've got another storm on the way! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,239377,00.html

They still haven't plowed most of our neighborhood, particularly our street. This snow's only gonna make the road situation even worse, for one. Plus I'm sick and tired of snow in general. Ugh - it's the last thing we need.

Gladly I really wish we could. The last thing I want is another major snowstorm.

If you're talking about global warming there, that's hilarious. Global warming is causing Colorado to have unprecedented snow! Who woulda thunk it?

If it's just climate change in general that you were talking about, it's nothing new. It's been happening for billions of years.

Start boxing that snow up RM and ship it my way! LoL. So what if it's melted when it arrives... it's the thought that counts, right?

Really. There has been absolutely NO snow here in Michigan and it is driving me insane. This is MICHIGAN. Where's the beef...er...snow? It is so bizarre...not having snow...in the winter. It's scary. I don't like it. The world is ending. I can't remember a snowless winter.

lol, folks. I'd gladly shift the snow here to you guys! We've had more snow this year than I can ever remember getting since I moved to this state. It's outrageous.

For this storm, though, they finally got out and plowed our streets...this morning. They didn't do it AT ALL for the first storm, so we went more than a week without getting plowed. It was ridiculous.

Yerp, we've had no snow, either. Just flurries. I looooove global warming.

Although back in early October Buffalo had that crazy nine feet snowstorm.

I meant for the east coast, You mountain people just have your own odd weather patterns that rest of the civilized world scoffs at.

I know. But if global warming is causing that, then it's most certainly gotta be causing more snow than I can remember since I moved here almost 6 years ago.

How about the 60-70 degree week New York had at the Begining of December, of that fact that Much of NY has had almost No snowfall, just rain.

I can understand the Snow in Colorado because of the Rockies, but we're far up north and should be getting pounded. Right now, It's 45 degrees and pouring out.

In Denver, believe me, the fact that the Rockies are nearby is irrelevant when it comes to snowfall.[/code]

I soooo HATE snow!!! It's snowing again - and for the first time for me since Spring 2003 (when the Iraq war started, for reference), school is closed. Why would I be furious about that? Because the stupid snow is likely to prevent me from going to the Friday-Saturday Speech and Debate tournament this weekend. And we have, what, 4, 5 more tournaments left for the entire year? This sucks big time.

Just great. You know what they're talking about for this Friday? First storm stuff! My God, can't this ever end!

And my Grandma's supposed to fly in Friday.

This totally sucks. We've had less sales because it's been so warm most of the place, and then lots of things delayed because of FedEx hubs in CO. I'm so praying for a cold snap for the rest of this month and February. I want my bonus, and I want it to be big, damn it,
