I was waiting for this topic. Thought Chris would've been the one to start it, though,

I got, from what I can remember:

ROME season 1
flannel pj's,
Invincible
Fox and the Hound 2
V for Vendetta
Crash

SB gift card
Walmart gift card
Red Sox jersey (nylon pullover)
a sweater
Motorola razr
Yankee candles
Jewelry box

And that's pretty much all I can think of atm. I know there are some other things, but it's late, and I'm old?

I got to spend a lovely evening with my wife, mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law, best friend, and little sister. It was very nice.

As for material goods, I think it is quite lame to brag about what you got, because you can't possibly gauge the sentimental meaning or actual necessity, only the financial value. Besides, that is just plain lame. Talk about your blessings not your material gains.

First and foremost I had a wonderful morning with my family - for the first tiem that I can remember I was up before my mom and my sis and I woke her up by putting all three dogs on the bed (even the German shepherd mix!!).

As for gifts...

Wireless mouse
s-video adapter
Spaceballs
A bunch of cooking equipment (cookie sheets, etc.)
A beautiful laptop bag

Can't really think of anything else specifically...

Fortunately I was able to miss the holiday with the extended family, making it all that much nicer. (I'm not fond of zoos)

I didn't intend it to be about bragging. I just thought it would be interesting to hear what people got for Christmas.

My wife made sure that I got a lot of nice things for Christmas. My list would be:

-An electric guitar (its red and pretty and love it!)
-Guitar Hero 2 (with 2 guitars, 1 wireless and 1 cherry SG controller, and a guitar bag)
-Call of Duty 3 for PS2
-A brand new pair of navy converse shoe (size 15 )
-A nice set of cologne
-An extremely expensive sonicare toothbrush with UV light cleaning kit and teeth whitener
-A new set of flannel pajamas (they are comfy!)
-Fallout for PS2
-A 19" flat panel monitor for my computer (my old one had MUCHO scratches and was bad)
-A mod kit for my XBOX so I can mod it, plus the 200GB hard drive for it
-A neat shaving kit so that I can do my own hair (take that barber!)
-2 electronic sudoku games
-Burnout Revenge for my XBOX (although I already own it )
-Civil War: A Nation Divided for PS2 (I LOVE the civil war, and this game is made by the history channel, I am quite excited)
-Tons of awesome mint chocolate and other little candies
-$450 from my grandparents
-$50 from my mom
-A really nice new Bible with a leather cover (I needed a nice Bible, and I absolutely love this one)
-A shot glass tic tac toe game
-GUN on PS2
-True Crime New York City on PS2
-Soul Calibur 2 on PS2

Bunch of other little things I don't recall at the moment.

Hurray for being the first to say so, amigo. I got to be home. And granted I'm really ready to go back to school already, that was enough.

Plus, I feel selfish for thinking that I didn't get much.

- lots of thermal undershirts... I live in the cold, apparently
- a suite of Spanish-learning discs to prepare me for Spanish 232 that I somehow tested into
- Crash
- Finding Serenity
- iTunes gift cards
- some cowboy puppet from my brother... strange
- a blanket for school
- a crazy gangsta Snakes on a Plane hat from my friend
- a cool pirate cigarette tin.... from Santa? how does he (or my parents) know I'm a recreational smoker?

AND!!! the best of all

- a $160 traffic ticket from me to me

I guess I didn't know I was allowed to ask for expensive things for Christmas.... My brothers got decked out with stuff. I guess I'm ok. I'll survive. I *beep* love traffic tickets.

I let a suggestion go that I didn't want gifts this year but I did get to go to an X-mas party with my moms family. Good food, good company. I did get a nice watch from my aunt.

I didn't feel right getting something and not being able to give something back.
