PostSun Apr 17, 2005 9:26 pm    Error in "Bound"

When I was watching the new Episode of Enterprise, Bound, I couldn't help but realize when they showed Lt. Kelby, the new chief engineer his uniform had on the pips of a commander (3 differnt full pips). On at least two times Kelby was called a Lieutentant.

Was I the only one to notice this?

I think they've made rank errors in EVERY ST show. Its tradition now.

In a way I guess you could say that it is. I doubt that If I was in Rick Berman's position or anyone elses that had any power over star trek I couldn't make it any better. If you look besides the errors and looking at the interesting stories, you would like the show as much as I do.

With regards to the patch.

In Affliction, Trip's patch had changed to Columbia, since he was officially transferred to that ship.

In Bound, Trip was technically no longer assigned to the vessel, so it made sense that he still wore the Columbia patch, even though he was assisting with engine repairs. However, he did put in a request to be transferred back to Enterprise, so he should have the Enterprise patch again the next time we see his character.

Data was just that good

Being everyone is imperfect even on the sets, there are bound to be mess-ups, i just overlook them and enjoy the show anyway.
