So, what are you doing on New Year's Eve?

I got invited to the New Year's Eve party of Colorado's next Secretary of State! My mom gave me the invitation tonight, that is, though I got it today.

I can't go, though, but that's just too cool! I wish I could, though, 'cause, I mean, just think of all the connections I could cultivate - the people I could meet!

What I am doing, though, is I'm actually babysitting for the third year in a row. The family I'm babysitting pays GOOD, so it's worth it.

I am going to stay at home with my wife, and most likely watch "The Twilight Zone".

RM... that's rough!! I'm so sorry you have to miss out on such a good opportunity! It's great that you'll be paid well though.

I will be working. What else is new? I have an 8:30 performance of, Urinetown. There's a reception to follow... After that I'll be going to an annnual party at my best gal-pal's house.
