PostMon Dec 18, 2006 9:21 pm    Your Life: The Soundtrack

This is fun with your iTunes (or whichever) music library. it goes like this....

Your Life: The Soundtrack

1. Open your music player (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, etc).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every track, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question press the next button.

These are the tracks for your soundtrack. No fast forwarding to a song that would fit better, because then it's not as funny. The first time I did this, it was a really good soundtrack, but we'll see this time. And.... go.

1. Opening Credits.

2. Waking Up

3. First Day of School

4. Falling in Love

5. Fight Scene

6. Breaking Up

7. Getting Back Together

8. Secret Love

9. Life's Okay

10. Mental Breakdown

11. Driving Flashback

12. Partying

13. Happy Dance

14. Regretting

15. Long Night Alone

16. Final Battle

17. Death Scene

18. Funeral

19. End Credits

Tehe! Okay, here's mine. (Lol, I did the whole thing then realised that I had moved all my music so some of them weren't playing. This is the revised version)

1. Opening Credits - One Short Day - Idina Menzel (Elphie), Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda) and the chorus from Wicked

2. Waking Up - I'm Not That Girl - Idina Menzel (From Wicked)

3. First Day of School - The Rescue - Stargate Atlantis OST

4. Falling in Love - Light My Candel - Adam Pascal (Roger) and Rosario Dawson (Mimi) from Rent

5. Fight Scene - Stargate Atlantis theme

6. Breaking Up - Vernal Equinox - Coleman Smith

7. Getting Back Together - Te Busque - Nelly Furtado and Juanes

8. Secret Love - With a Little Bit of Luck - Coleman Smith

9. Life's Okay - Love Heals - Rent (various cast members)

10. Mental Breakdown - Confusion - The Zutons

11. Driving Flashback - Build You Up - Nelly Furtado

12. Partying - Alfie - Lily Allen

13. Happy Dance - Roxie - Rene Zellwegger (From Chicago)

14. Regretting - I'm Going Home - Tim Curry (RHPS)

15. Long Night Alone - Suit from The Nox - Stargate SG-1 OST

16. Final Battle - Mosh - Eminem

17. Death Scene - I'm Not That Girl (Reprise) - Kristen Chenoweth

18. Funeral - Ascension Theme - Stargate SG-1 OST

19. End Credits - Bye Bye Blackbird - Liza Minnelli (From Liza With a Z)

I skipped audio commentaries, Tea at Five, and any interview I had...

This is totally inaccurate. And it isn't even definitively inaccurate...

1. Opening Credits: "Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix)" by U2 (Pretty good)

2. Waking Up: "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails (Interesting)

3. First Day of School: "Headlock" by Imogen Heap (I don't remember my first day)

4. Falling in Love: "The Rock" by The Who (Well, hasn't happened before, but I think that song 5 and this one would be more appropriate if interchanged.)

5. Fight Scene: "Your Not One of Them" by John Ottman

6. Breaking Up: "These Eyes" by Randy Bachman (Ironic considering that this song is about Bachman's wife and he wrote it prior to their marriage)

7. Getting Back Together: "Beautiful Life" by Ace of Base

8. Secret Love: "Every Breath You Take" by Sting & The Police (creepy)

9. Life's Okay: "Not Like the Train Set" by John Ottman (definitely not appropriate for this feeling)

10. Mental Breakdown: White Christmas by Otis Redding (again, #9 and this one should be interchanged)

11. Driving Flashback: "All Right Now" by Free (not what I imagined as a driving flashback--for me that has always been "Hotel California". But apparently my flashback is a happy one.)

12. Partying: "Space Jam Theme" by Quad City DJs

13. Happy Dance: "Winter Light" by Tim Finn (really not suitable for this feeling)

14. Regretting: "Jump (For My Love)" by The Pointer Sisters (I think this thing is off by one or something. This would be a perfect happy dance!)

15. Long Night Alone: "No. 4 in G -- I. Allegro" by San Marco Luigi Varese (not a sad night apparently)

16. Final Battle: "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple

17. Death Scene: "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Olivia Olson (apparently I die during Christmas?)

18. Funeral: "La Grange" by ZZ Top (apparently my funeral is a good thing?!)

19. End Credits: "How Could You Leave Us" by John Ottman (well finally he picks an appropriate sentiment)

lol, okay, so I wiped my hard drive and started over this week, so I don't have too much music on my iTunes, but this is what I've got here. It's an...interesting soundtrack, to say the least, lol.

1. Opening Credits. - "Take It Easy", Soullive (Good opening song I think, lol)

2. Waking Up - "Sweet Home Chicago", Eric Clapton (lol)

3. First Day of School - "Jesus Just Left Chicago", ZZ Top (so now I'm Jesus? lol)

4. Falling in Love - "Bound and Determined", The Marshall Tucker Band (lol, this kinda fits, I guess.)

5. Fight Scene - "Sophisticated Lady", James Darren [aka Vic Fontaine from DS9] (sooo doesn't fit. This is just about the slowest song you could imagine, lol.)

6. Breaking Up - "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out", Eric Clapton (This fits, actually.)

7. Getting Back Together - "Let Your Light Shine", Keb' Mo' (Eh, kinda fits, I guess.)

8. Secret Love - "My Best Friend," The Marshall Tucker Band (Maybe...)

9. Life's Okay - "I'm On Your Side", Keb' Mo' (Hmm...)

10. Mental Breakdown - "Just One of Those Things", James Darren (lol, soo doesn't fit)

11. Driving Flashback - "Don't Ask Me No Questions", Albert King & Stevie Ray Vaughn (Uh, not really, lol)

12. Partying - Yet another Marshall Tucker Band song, and I don't even listen to that much at all, lol, "Holding On To You" (Try...not? lol)

13. Happy Dance - "Everybody's Got a Mountain to Climb", Allman Brothers Band (Uh, no.)

14. Regretting - "Lonesome Boy From Dixie", Charlie Daniels (Uh, not so much, but kind of, lol)

15. Long Night Alone - "Too Broke to Spend the Night", Buddy Guy (Sure.)

16. Final Battle - "You Ain't Foolin' Me", you guessed it: Marshall Tucker (No, not really, lol)

17. Death Scene - "Good Man Gone Bad", BB King (Talk about a fast-paced Blues song, lol. Doesn't fit, lol)

18. Funeral - "T-Bone Shuffle", Robert Cray & two others (Apparently my funeral is a pleasant experience about getting ready to have a good time? lol, I'm sure that fits from the liberal perspective j/k)

19. End Credits - "The Blues Ain't Nothin'", Dickey Betts (clearly this fits since the Blues and bad things aren't bad in my movie, lol)

8. Secret Love - "Fight Fire with Fire" - Metallica (No)

9. Life's Okay - "Dread and the Fugitive Mind" - Megadeth (No)

10. Mental Breakdown - "Room to Breathe" - Project Wyze (By the title, yes, but the lyrics, no)

11. Driving Flashback - "Pedal to the Metal" - Kazzer (lol)

12. Partying - "Straight out of Line" - Godsmack (lol)

13. Happy Dance - "Fates Warning" - Iron Maiden (... No)

14. Regretting - "The Unforgiven" - Metallica (oooo, definately)

15. Long Night Alone - Psychotron (Alernate version) - Megadeth (No)

16. Final Battle - "Metal Militia" - Metallica (lmao)

17. Death Scene - "Where I may Roam (Orchestra version)" - Metallica (sorta in a weird way)

18. Funeral - "Mutter" - Rammstein (Don't think so)

19. End Credits - "Sad but True" - Metallica (lol)

Well, it's safe to say I have a lot of metal on my play list. I have lots of other stuff, too, but it was all my metal that came up. I'll do a V. 2.0, later.
