Well she did leave during the first episode last night (which was just awesome)...but I think that Meloni is on a Contract that doesn't expire soon, so I don't think he's leaving. I'm not sure...I guess we'll find out

Good Episode indeed. Eight years, you can't be to surprised if one leaves. I think they only had like 6 year contracts. I don't know for sure though. Ep 9 she returns, yay

- I did actually watch the premire of CI, and there was no way I was missing SVU's premire. I would say CI's was better (that's a huge shock coming from me)- and it's something I didn't expect from them...seemed more the style of SVU. And what is Eams first name? Do they ever call each other by their first names?
For CI I hated the series til a few days ago, then I caught some of the episodes...and hey ...this isn't so bad. So I was interested in seeing the premire - but during the trailer when they said "a member of the major case squad gets kidnapped" - come on...that's too easy. Especally after I saw the beginning credits and realized that the series has only 3 cast members!

- Her character just went undercover for two months worth of episodes.

I'm annoyed. Apparently they got rid of Fontana for the regular and replaced it with a female, so abruptly. I don't like that, and from the preview I saw on the L&O website, I don't like the new partner to Green.

They've really only used the first names once or twice its Alexandra Eames (though I believe they used Alex)..and Robert Gorin.
And yeah...both were good, but I also have to say that CI was better, and you're right when you say it was more like SVU. It was more personal and emotion, like SVU tends to be in comparison to CI.
(You're going to get hooked on CI I swear...I used to hate it...then just a coupple episodes. I thought Gorin was annoying. Then a while latter I saw a few more closer together...and darnit I'm hooked! )

- Thanks, I remembered what Gorin's name was but couldn't remember Eames. When I saw the premire I heard Gorin say the name: Amanda...and I'm like that's not right.

- Hey that's what always happens to me. I hate a show/movie because of some reason then get hooked on it after I watch it. Hell it happened with me and SVU - I originally watched L&O and SVU because my brother's friend told me it was better than Monk. So I watched it to prove him wrong...turns out he was right. But I got hooked on SVU, I barely watch L&O.
I hated ST then one day during class I had wanted to know what these guys where talking about, and that's how I became hooked on Voyager. Years back.

No, I didn't. Nor did my mom.
He isn't the main character this round, though? Are you sure? If so, that's just wrong.

- He wasn't when Fontana (or whatever his name is) was around. Don't know if he is now. I didn't think it was fair then.
Wana know something funny? You know how CSI & L&O are the top of the cop dramas and are pitted againest each other? Well...in the movie "Manhunter" (1986, the first "Red Dragon") It stared William Petersen as Graham (Ed Norton's role in Red Dragon) (who plays Grissom in CSI) and Fontana as Jack Crawford. I've also seen Marg Helgenberger and Chris Noth in the same movie.

- Seems alot of the L&O actors do. Stephane March partically left because her character wasn't given enough development - but honestly, in L&O their truely isn't much character development. And if your going to be an actor on L&O I wouldn't count on character development. If it did happen I would say...My character is very lucky. Benson is the one with the richest background...and I'd say Mishka & Chrisy are about the luckest L&O actors in terms of character development.

lol, Untitled. That is interesting.
And I just saw the episode. It looks like the new girl's inexperienced and Green is the head. I hope so, too. I much prefer him to her.
The episode was nothing great, but it was alright. Next week's looks good.

- Your right, I'm hooked! I now watch two shows I hated, CI & DS9. Tonight, I couldn't stop thinking about CI at work - I wanted so bad to come home and watch it.

- Well don't worry, Mishka will be back. I admit I haven't been watching - since the premire, I've been saving them up on TiVo box til Olivia comes back from her undercover stint.

I don't know...when was this on? What was it about? Hard to say from the titles.

- Umm...it was on during Miska's absense. She has one short scene in the episode. She goes to tell Elliot & the Squad she's back.
Go here: NBC - SVU Go to Highlights, which is on the right lowerside of the page. Click "Play Now >" next to "Underbelly"
