This is very unfortunate. The Idiocrats in the Senate aren't going to let a good man continue to do good for this country and the world, so he has to resign. What a pity.

You know its very childish when people start using made up words for real words like Idiocrats and Re-thug-licans.
You seem to be doing it more and more and it annoys me soo much!
Why would we want to lower the tone of debate even further?

Well, when you try to shoot down a good man who's fighting hard against the corruption and to properly represent this country in a corrupt organization, I think it warrants some manner of anger-expression. Perhaps Idiocrats isn't the best term, but this news gets me spitting mad.
EDIT: The point I'm trying to make, so as to shift this discussion away from that term, is that what they're doing is wrong - and idiotic. Plain and simple.

I'm glad they did this. I hated Bolton then, and I hate him now.
I do love how Republican's call then UN corrupt. They only started doing this after it would not support our illegal war in Iraq....hmmm....

Do some research, such as reading the book The UN Exposed, and you'll know exactly why we're talking about corruption .The Un is corrupt to the core, and it's a rather useless, ineffective organization on top of that.
I love how some liberals can flat-out deny the grand levels of corruption within the Un.

One thing I do know is that the name calling only really started after they decided not to support the Iraq War.

And on the other side we have Conservatives who flat-out deny the grand levels of corruption within our government.

The factless arguments are getting so old. That is not true at all. The UNs validity has been called into question since long before the Iraq war.
As for the topic, I don't know much about Bolton to be honest. I don't know why the Dem. hate him so much or why the Repub. like him so much. As far as I can remember, he didn't do anything bad/extrodinary.

If this thread continues the name calling, finger pointing, and making vague arguments with no factual support, it will be locked and warnings will be going out.
