Wow. This is...I don't know how to react to this. Homegrown terrorism (though in this case, not Islamic, by the looks of it), and involving teenagers...

Terrorism (though wrong) is a means to an end with a political purpose.
This was simply anti-social behavior.

I didn't pay attention to the location for some odd reason when this was put up. Imagine my shock when I found out it was right here in Maine.

(no one take this the wrong way)
Two kids set off a couple of homemade bombs in a wal-mart. All of the sudden its terrorism and you aren't safe shopping anymore.
Over reacting much?

I'm not calling it Terroism, I'm calling it to punks with some anti social problems? At least, that's what Dad said. I can hardly view it as 'terrorism' as in the sept 11 way, if thats what you mean. I wouldn't know about feeling 'unsafe' to go, but eight people needed medical attention. The most insulting, is the teens were sent home to the parents.

Well, that's not what I mean, but it is terrorism, nonetheless.

The word terrorism is being thrown around to freely now-a-days.
This, and most school violence, is not any sort of terrorism. It's teenagers who are trying to gain attention, or use their anger to lash out by any means necessary.

Yeah, you guys are probably right. It's still an act of terror, though, even if it wasn't entirely for "a means of coercion" (Merriam-Webster Online) or a terrorist act, per se.

I agree.
Terrorism is something that is meant to strike absolute terror in mass populations in an attemt to sway the government to cater to their demands.
A couple of kids trying to get attention and vent don't qualify.
It seems like the minute something violent happens, everyone shouts "TERRORISM!". It kind of ruins the impact of the word and the meaning behind it.

I'm sure they were protesting the horrible working conditions and sexism found in the Wal*Mart corporation,
Go Target!

I'm not sure, but I don't think that the 8 people that needed medical attention would find that funny.

Well, they didn't give a reason for why they did. It's perfectly viable. Anybody who knows anything about Wal*Mart knows how terribly the workers get treated (although they're trying to save themselves, psh), as well as the massive amounts of bs going around (ie sexism, etc.).

Who cares if Wal Mart is treating people that way? This is no way to protest, if that is why they were doing it. There is no excuse for it. The company is hurting people, not the common shopper.
There are many protestors who used to work in sweat shops thanks to Wal Mart and they protest it peacefully in front of Wal Marts. Surely, these idiots, who aren't even working in the sweat shops, can do that too.

Yeah, really. Innocent people got hurt, and the response that could be thought up was a crack at Wal*Marts policies.
It's a pretty terrible situation, haven't heard anything new today yet.

Who cares? Lots of people. (unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean here...)
And as you said: idiots,

I love Wal-Mart. The prices there are wonderful. Next to Borders, it's my second-favorite store. Without it, my mom says, we'd be spending three times as much money on groceries, which wouldn't be good for our financial situation at all.
