The only possible good thing about games being pushed back dates is hopefully they're making a few last touches on the game to make it better so it won't suck. I don't know if anyone played Devil May Cry 2...that was AWFUL! Too bad I only have a laptop and I can't even play it even with the minimum requirements. I also don't own an Xbox 360 mainly because what would be the point of I can't read the dialogue without an HD TV? So I'm sad about not playing it...but I'll get over it...I'll just have to sit here and hopefully see what Voyager2004 thinks of the game when he gets it.

Okay, so I went to EB Games to pick up my copy of Star Trek Legacy, and guess what? It's been pushed back to December 6th! Ugh, how freakin' retarded? I mean, I got a free poster out...  I was like, "You can keep the poster, I just want the game..." LOL...but ya, the games been pushed back yet again...

By this point, it isnt the bugs or anything, as it's already been pressed and sent to stores, I have to wonder if it isnt a marketing gimmick or something, I can't seem to find any reason for this delay.

Ya, it's definitely not the bugs...and I dunno if it's been sent to the Stores or not yet...but I do know that the store that I pre-ordered it in doesn't have it at all yet...
The guy at my store today said it's either a problem with shipping, or a problem with too many other big name releases at the time they want to release the game...I say "Screw other big name releases and give the Trekkies what they want!!!" LOL...but that's just me.

Well, they have a point, there. Despite you wanting it badly, if say WoW does a release of a patch or something the same date, thats whats gonna sell, not legacy.

Ya, and I totally understand that point...but the fact remains that there's me, and probably very few more people like me, that play pretty much nothing but Trek and want a new game! LOL...So I'm just goin' bored out of my mind here with nothing to do and what I love most is being denied to me...  Oh sad...

I know how you feel, but it's all in the matter of marketing, Week A, you might get 60 people that buy it, due to a differnt release, BUT wait for week C, and 160 people will buy it....
Anyhoo, I hope it comes out on the 6th, or 5th, whatever, instead of yet another delay.

I got this game the other day and I have to say I am sorely dissapointed. I more then meet the needed specs. The game play is choppy, freezes during the cinimatics, has bugs out the wahzoo. I really do hope they find a way to improve this title. It has a lot of potential.

I bought it but apparently, my comp doesn't meet the requirements, so it's all laggy....
I'm not selling it though. I'm gonna upgrade my comp soon and then check how it is.

Well i got this game too. i don't like it yet.... Maybe now i have lowered the settings a bit i get a lot more faster game play, but the first battle i was in took a looooooong time.
I don't like that. Hopefully you can get a little bit more then fighting shielded boxes(really, the ship look like from the show but it don't matter where you it them or what part you see, all is the same as if they where boxes, the only real exciting thing about is when the shield start to fail after a lot of phaser shots, but then you NEED a photon to destroy it....)

I managed to tweak a few things to get it to play smoothly. I don't really care for the single player thing but the Skirmish is kool. Game would be better though if ships were a little more agile.

I was going to get the game, seeing how it has turned out with fellow trekkers, and how its messing the pc's up , i may have to reconsider.

Hmm...try making sure your DirectX is up to date, you have your updated and proper video drivers installed, and that your computer meets the specifications for the game.
I played it, I hate it. Not a fan at all. Its just not fun for me. Good thing I didnt pay for it...
