Does anyone have the audio cd of Kate Mulgrew play, Tea at Five?

If you do, what is it like?

I have it! My friend got it for me for my birthday!!!!

I love it! It's no where near as good as it'd be live, but it's still amazing. It actually made me cry, when she was talking about Tom.

If you're thinking about buying it I would so recommend you do! It's awesome!

Want to know anything specific about it?

Ya, it's really great! I wish there was a DVD of the play though...I think that's rather disappointing! But otherwise, the cd is really good though. I just had to picture it as best I could in my head...she's such a wonderful actress!!!

A DVD of it woud be great too, but I think the engery of the show is better conveyed through audio than video IMO. But there are some officially released clips on Youtube, so you can watch those and get a feel for the set and stuff, which helps you imagine what Kate would be doing.

AMAZING

Eh, I'll look at Youtube later when I get the chance...I'd rather an officially released DVD...Yes, the audio is conveyed very well, as I said, WONDERFUL actress...but would rather see it...her facial expressions...wonderful actress.

It's a one woman play about Katherine Hepburn.

Basically Kate monologues (spectacularly) for two hours as Hepburn during two critical moments in her life - in between being labeled "box office poison" and when she breaks her leg in her 80s.

there is a trailer for this performance on youtube and there is a 4min interview with Kate as well. Unfortunately she was having problems with her ear piece. It kind of takes your attention away from what she is saying. I just seached for "tea at five"
