Classic example, in "Far Beyond the Stars," Sisko's dad quoted the bible, and in the kind of surreal half-fantasy world, his father played a street preacher.

I believe God was mention in Voyager the episode omega by Seven of nine. She asked Chakotay along these lines do you have your God? I know my words aren't exact but close.

IIRC, the TNG Episode "Where Silence Has Lease" has some discussion about God and the Afterlife.

There's also the TNG episode when Picard "died" and Q said, "I am God." lol...that was a funny part of the episode. And then Picard was all flustered and didn't want to believe that he was God...Haha...Can't remember the name of the episode, but it was a good one at that.

Yeah...i cant cite specifics, but big daddy rolled with Trek on numerous occassions - and it may not be our specific god as we know or describe, but there was a lot of holy rolling going on through DS9
Shame really - I dont care much for that sort of thing in my science fiction, and it turned me off to quite a bit of DS9 at least those particualr type of episodes where the bajoran holy virtues came into play

Umm. I'm not sure. If and when they did, I never noticed.

God is mentioned in many, many, many episodes through all the Star Trek series.
I can't count how many times someone has said "Oh my God." on DS9/TNG.
Sisko expressed his beliefs in "some things".
Picard did so in that episode with Nagelen(sp?) to Data.
The list goes on and on. I was pleasantly surprised to see God being invoked in Star Trek more then I thought. It's nice to see the Human spirit enduring in a world of thoughtless technology.

I agree with you Founder and it nice to see everybody's take on this. I have been busy with work so I haven't posted much.
It is nice to see some spiritual part of humanity rather it be different religions and part of humanity.
