THIS is the story of a potential reality, one which is Constitutional by its very nature.

In the year 2008, Republican presidential candidate James Rutherford, governor of Colorado, rose through the ranks and swept through the election to become President of the United States, in an unprecedented move, bringing along with him an accepted and overly-qualified Vice-Presidential candidate: Independent [Name yet to be decided].

Four years later, the year 2012 is seeing a chain of electoral events unimaginable throughout all of the history of the United States of America. One which could happen in realtiy. One which is Constitutional by its very nature. One which involves the most vast conspiracy known to this nation, if not the world. One which involves the potential end of republicanism, and, ironically, the Constitution as we know it.

America be wary, for your end could well be near.

NOTE TO READERS: I plan on beginning this sometime this weekend. This will be a striking tale of a virtually impossible occurance that has the constitutional chance of occuring, given the right circumstances, revolving around a tie in the Electoral College, characters both real and fictional in nature (including Rutherford), and a terrifying event which will occur during this Electoral College tie, one which will face a threat never before imagined by anyone in American history. I'd suggest that you have a copy of the Constitution on hand as you read this story, for it will most assuridly come up.
