Art Competition

Attention all artists! The art competition is now up and running! Here are the categories:

2D/3D CGI: Any 2D or 3D work generated through a computer.

Hand Drawn: Any artwork created by hand (should hope that was obvious

). Acceptable mediums are: pencil, pen, charcoal, chalks, paints, and anything else I've fogotten.

Video: Please host all video entries on youtube.com and tag with "stv.com"

Icons: Must be 100x100 (max) - please no animations.

Awards: There will be one First Place award for each category, and one special Trek award for the best Star Trek art (from any series). So there are a total of five awards you can win.

RULES:

All images must abide by STV.com's global rules, as well as the Fan Art Forum rules. That means that all images must be PG-13 or below. All work must be original, or borrowed work must be credited. Also, any images over 800x600 must be linked.

You may enter in as many categories as you'd like, but you're only allowed one entry per category.

All entries are due by Midnight October 11, 2006. No late entries will be accepted.

Ok this is concisdered Hand Drawn cause all i used was a Wacom Pad and Pen, And the defualt PS Brushes and no speical tricks or anything all free hand.

I used one or two patterns and some tiny "text" by ColorFilter, but they aren't particularly visable

I think we decided that we were going to extend the competition a few days since it was only the two of us who entered, but I didn't edit my original post to reflect that as I don't know when it'll end.

It's probably a good idea to wait until there are more active artists...it seems to me that at most we've had about 4 people at a time. But that's just my two cents.

Well you don't have to draw if you don't want to

we can still have all of the options to create whatever art but don't seperate them into sections, just one big lot.
