I recall seeing an episode a while ago that filmed a blatant lack of acting at the end of a scene. It was Picard walking into either a turbolift or his ready room from the bridge, and you can see him turn his expression to this grin, that definately should not have been there. Does anyone know what episode this is? And is there any other cool mistakes out there?

The second TNG episode. When Picard and Dr Crusher are getting...close in his ready room picard makes a funny noise with his mouth before speaking. At first i thought it was supposed to be like that. But the sad geek that i am i watched it again and again and i really dont think he should have done that.

I remember that scene. I personally always thought that that was in the script, but maybe I'm mistaken. Definately an awkward moment...for both actor and viewer I'm sure.

I remember having seen an episode similar to that...Kind of like he was straight faced on the bridge, and then turned for his ready room, facing the camera, and then let the straight face down. I don't remember the episode, or what it was about, or why he was straight faced, but I remember believing that it was part of the episode...because he was being "sarcastic" or whatnot about being so serious, and then behind their back let out the smile because he wasn't serious...or something like that...

I remember an episode where something similar to what you describe occured...but to me it didn't really seem out of place...or maybe I'm melding several things together in my head, and making them into something that makes sense. Or maybe it isn't even the one that you are talking about...

In The Naked Now (ep. 2) he was supposed to be going nuts. That doesn't account for it?

It was 11001001. Not easy to remember. And yes, there was a lack of acying there. And it was obvious Guinan's voice was dubbed over the young version in 'Rascals'
