Which Queen did you think ws best? I thought Krige from STVIII was gr8, but then Susan Thompson from VGR ruined it somewhat

First of all, no, Susanna Thompson didn't ruin it on Voyager. She was a more than acceptable substitute for Alice Krige. Yes, I prefer Krige over Thompson, but Thompson certainly didn't ruin it.

Second, there should already be a topic VERY similar to this somewhere here.....

It wasn't until recently I realised they were actually played by 2 different people. I like them both, but I do prefer Alice Krige.

Oh, I too would rather have seen Krige on Voyager...but every time they needed her, she was busy with other projects...but at least they got her for Voyager's big Finale!

I liked the one from Voyager when Seven joined the crew. She was so... sexual in a sense. Like she loved being who she was as well as all of her drones.

I think Alice Krige played it better. She is more of a bad queen than Susan.

I agree...but at the same time Susan was an acceptable replacement. She looked the part, had the voice...yes, although different, but it's also up to the actress and how she wants to portray the character. You can give two different actors the same part and they both, hopefully, would come up with two completely different characters. That's the way it's supposed to be...

Like Dumbledor (I dunno how to spell his name) from Harry Potter...I'm sure the new guy has a completely different outlook on what the Professor should be like than the original guy...

Whassis got to do with the Borg Queen?
Anyway, another example is Saavik. I personally preferred Curtis, but I know there are a lot of diehard Kirstie Alley fans
