Captain's Log, Stardate 58770.46

It's been barely twenty minutes since I've returned from the Salara. I spoke to lieutenant commander Robitaille, who told me of the situation. As soon as I transported back, I noticed the station was eerily devoid of civilians. They've all been evacuated and the Romulan refugees, who have lived here for so long, have left. The refugees, civilians, even the marines, all gone from DSG. The station couldn't feel anymore emptier. There was nothing left to do, save for prepare to secure the station. I've ordered engineering and medical crews to the 5th fleet, which I have gained command of. Temporarily at least. A temporary fleet commander was need, while I command the station. I've asked Archer to fill in the role while his own ship was docked. At the moment, it wasn't needed and he accepted. For the time being, councilor Watts is staying on DSG. Cory went back to his quarters and Ziona.... Ziona is in our quarters right now, reflecting on the loss of her father. She asked to be left alone, so I obeyed. While I sit and wait for Fito to attack my station, I find myself in T'Sa's quarters. She has had medical trouble for sometime and asked Ian to speak with her. I'm here now, helping an old friend...end log.

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian took a sip of the Vulcan tea that T'Sa replicated for him.

"What's this about T'Sa?" He asked.

((Yeah, yeah, so her hair isn't that long or her outfit, but the image works ))
-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa sat down next to Ian, setting down a dish containing some sort of Vulcan fruit. The closest Human similarity was an apple. She picked up a cup of Tea of her own and looked to Ian. A few minuts ago, she had learned the civilians had been evacuated. Much to her distress, she couldn't get ahold of Nicodemus. She sighed and looked over at him. The room was dark, but there was a slight light, just enough to see.

"Do you remember," She whispered, "Back when we went on that mission? Under that discuse?"

T'Sa was refering to when everyone was dicusied as aliens, shortly after Ian had found her on a Romulan ship.

"Remember that I...killed that man?"

T'Sa sniffled and looked down.

T'Sa panted from the painful memory. There was no need to kill him, she told herself, and everyone. He was already out of commision. He was no threat, and she snaped his neck like a twig.

"We...Well, when we go--"

T'Sa swoallowed.

"When we got back, Doctor Shoran ran some quick test, we found not answers..."

T'Sa looked back to to Ian.

"She said she had an idea..."

(Her hair is shorter then in those pics? What does she have-a crewcut? )

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian gently placed the cup down and looked back at his friend. So it was true. There definitly was something wrong with her. He had no idea what, but it was true.

"And?" He asked, pressing he to continue.

((HAHA, look at the Bio page ))

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa panted slightly, she set her cup down and shifted.

"And...."

T'Sa swallowed.

"At a later date, more recently, She took some samples, to run test on. Blood..."

T'Sa looked down in shame.

"Test on the DNA strands, show there are...differnces..."

T'Sa looked up to Ian, a tear escaped from her eye.

"She said that...it was like one of the acient Vulcans..."

T'Sa studied the cocerned face for a moment. She closed her eyes and sighed.

"Doctor Shoran's test showed that, my DNA has developed with a...'throwback to a flavor of Vulcan that was not as emotionally stagnant.'"

T'Sa looked down again. She sighed and wiped a tear away, only for another one to appear.

"She says I'm not defective, but..."

T'Sa shruged.

"If I'm not...then..."

T'Sa closed her eyes.

"What am I?"

She looked to Ian.

"There's more, indeed..."

-DSG, Cory Taylors Quarters-

Cory returned to his quarters after getting back to the station. He went inside. It was quiet and dark. He saw something move in the background.
Whos there? The lights came on. He saw Tessa. He was happy and confused all at the same time.
Tess, I thought they evacuated all the civilians? She walked over to him smiling.
They did. But I used a tricorder to produce sensor displacement echoes so they couldnt detect me. I wanted to be here when you got back. Cory smiled and kissed her.
A lot has happened since I was gone. I lost my right forearm. Tessa looked ay his right forearm.
It looks fine to me. Cory nodded.
It was replaced by a cybernetic prosthesis. Tessa looked at his forearm again.
Does it hurt? Cory shook his head.
It did a little at first but now its fine. Just like its been there for years. Tessa pulled him close and hugged him. She knew something had happened to him while he was gone. She was glad that he was still alive.

-Romulan Warbird Salara-

NTran paced about his quarters. He was a commanding officer. His place was on the bridge. There was a chirp at the door.
Enter. Kiris walked in and sat down.
I thought you went back to the station with Xavier. Kiris shook his head. No father. I disobeyed his order to return so I could stay here. NTran sat down next to him.
You are risking your career by being here. Kiris nodded.
I know father, but some things are more important than a career. Like right now, you need me. NTran studied Kiris for a moment.
Why do I need you now? Kiris shrugged.
I dont know. Maybe youd like to talk or just be in the company of someone youre comfortable with.

NTran got up and started pacing again.
Kiris, Im sorry I wasnt there for you and your mother all those years. II became my father. I didnt mean for any of it to happen but it did. Kiris listened intently.
I forgive you father. NTran turned around.
Just like that? You forgive me just like that? Kiris nodded.
Yes, you made a mistake. Granted, it caused Mother and I some suffering but were all together again. So, no harm done right? NTran knew it was the human half of Kiris speaking. No Romulan would be so sentimental. Except for me maybe?
I suppose youre right. It still doesnt take away what I feel though. What does your mother say about this? Kiris shrugged again.
She hasnt talked about it. I know it hurt her a lot when you left. For the longest time shed sit there every night and prepare dinner like she always did for us. After a year she stopped doing it. After a few more years shed finally given you up for dead. She started dating again. I wouldnt allow it to last long though. I knew youd come back to us. NTran sat down again. Laura had given him up for dead? and started dating again? Part of him was jealous but part of him also said it was only natural. After so long of holding onto someone that didnt come back. She would have been lonely.
Does she not talk to me because she fears what I will think? Kiris shifted position.

Shes been avoiding you because youre not the person she once knew. Yes, youre physically the same person but not mentally. You were what mother called Almost Human before you left. She enjoyed the little surprises you had for her every once in awhile. NTran thought about that. Hed often prepare little surprises for Laura. Black Roses and moon wine were two of her favorites. Then there were outings they took. To Risa, Trill, several other worlds. She also found his attempts at romantic dinners to be quite entertaining. Shes told him once that it was the gesture that counted, not the outcome.
Do you think shed like a surprise right now? Kiris nodded.
I think so besides, it certainly wouldnt hurt any. NTran nodded.
Go and keep her busy for awhile son. Its been awhile since I did anything like this. Kiris nodded and left NTrans quarters. Now, just what to do

+ 2 Dilithium. Good development of the char.

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian carefully heard T'Sa explain Dr. Shoran's prognosis. This was...strange indeed. Had she been born with the gene or was it lying dormant inside of her, only to be brought out by some highly emotional experiance in her past? The conversation brought back a memory of his father's funeral in his mind...

"And now to perform the eulogy, admiral Xavier's son, Ian, will come forward." A man said.

Ian rose from his seat near the podium and approached the hovering microphone. He walked past the coffin, covered with the UFP sheet. His eyes were red, obviously from crying earlier. He shook hands with the man that had just spoken.

"Thank you admiral Russ." He said.

Russ bowed his head, then quickly replaced Ian in the seat he just left. Ian placed his arms on top of the podium and looked out at the rather large crowd. Many of them came for his father's funeral, all of them knowing the man somehow. He had, had a lot of friends in his life. A lot of people affected by him. His old crew was gathered there as well.

"Thank you for coming all the way to DS7," He said, speaking into the device that amplified his voice, "I know some of you are not stationed near here, so I thank you for making this trip, longer for some then others. My name is commander Xavier. As most of you know, I am the late admiral's son."

He choked in his last sentance, fighting the urge to cry.

"I...uh..." He said, trying to clear his mind.

His eyes scanned the massive room. It was normally used for briefings for a large amount of officers, but now it was used temporarily for the funeral. He noticed several Federation councilors sitting near the middle, one of them was Terrance Goddard, the future Federation president.

"I know that most of you know Thomas Xavier," He said, his voice booming, "I...uh...don't know what I can say that will reveal more about Thomas. We should reflect on what we know about him...

He saw his old friend, Archer, sitting near the back with some members of his crew. It had been a while since Ian had spoken to him. That was not important right then. His eyes stopped when he saw one of his father's closest friends and one of Ian's mentor as a child, T'Sa. He didn't know if it was his imagination or not, but he could have sworn he saw tears welling up in her eyes. Ian quickly shook his head. No, not possible.

Ian snapped out of the memory, wondering if her problem had started then or before. He tilted his head and looked closely at her.

"Can Dr. Shoran help you?" He asked, "Or doctors on Vulcan?"

-USS Madras, Main Engineering-

"WHAT!?" A voice yelled, "Absolutely not!!!"

Assistant chief engineer of DSG, ensign Mark Bengali, looked at the chief engineer of the Madras.

"There is no way that you have to replace EVERY phaser array." He said.

The chief engineer, a Caitian, rolled his eyes in response.

"I checked dozens of times," He said, "Trust me. They are not repairable."

Mark rubbed the point where his eyes met his nose.

"I don't believe this," He said in frustration, "That's going to take a while. Fine, I'll get my engineers on it."

The Caitian nodded, grateful and rushed off. Mark whispered to himself, when he saw the engineer was gone.

"Lieutenant Ditex," He said, "I sure could use your help right now..."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa nodded slowly at Ian as she looked back at him. She missed the times when the two would sit for hours and simply talked. If Ian had a problem, if he felt the need to vent, or if he simply wanted to talk, T'Sa was there.

"Doctor Shoran can help me..."

She spoke softly, and studied Ian's reactions. She knew now that staying on the station was probably the best decision she could have ever made.

"She has devised a treatment for this...'throwback'," T'Sa paused, looking at Ian still. It simply amazed her at times. She could recall the days with Ian running down the corridors of DS7, exploring the rooms, and the sections. She could also recall the times when she had to chase Ian. Somehow, the small child with very small legs, managed to outrun her.

"It involves DNA resequncing, what it does, is...repair the damage, so to speak. I'll still be the same person that watched you grew."

T'Sa offered a small smile. It faded after a moment.

"Usually, I can work control, but so much has happened in the last couple days."

T'Sa sighed and looked down.

"I had that dream, Ian. While I was undergoing treatment."

Ian knew what happened to her when she was eight. He also knew the nightmares it gave her. T'Sa looked at him for a moment. She looked down again.

"It was so...real."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian slowly nodded his head, knowing about the nightmare. He leaned back in his seat, angry at himself. How many times had he brought T'Sa along on missions? In this condition? It wasn't really her fault. She had tried to talk to him about it before, but there never seemed to be a time for the two to talk.

"T'Sa," He said, "From here on out, you aren't going on any more missions. I can't believe I've dragged you around all this time."

He stared at the empty cup on the table. She had, temporarily resigned her commission, but would return. He would make sure that didn't happen until she was healthy again.

T'Sa thought over his words for a moment. He was only acting her best interest. She nodded at him.

"Very well," she whispered, "If that's how you feel, then I shall abide by it."

T'Sa set her cup down and looked back to him.

"However, if you get in trouble, or need help. Please, find me?"

T'Sa looked at him, not going to back down from that argument. In her mind, having more time off could be good. She could schedual the trip with Nic, even...'hang out' to use a human term, at his resturant with him.

Ian nodded in agreement.

"Deal." He said.

He leaned forward and placed his hand over hers.

"T'Sa," He said, "I need you to do me a favor, an important one."

T'Sa nodded as she moved her free hand to touch his. It had been some time since such a closeness had been displayed between the two.

"Of course, Ian."

T'Sa wondered what it was that Ian needed from her. Her mind went back to Ziona. T'Sa wondered how she was dealing with the lost of her father, coming back to a station so...empty, may not have helped matters.

Ian realized there was no easy way to ask her, so he decided to just say it, rather then sugarcoat. Even if she did have emotion problems, she was still a Vulcan and disliked shady speeches that said nothing.

"I want you to leave DSG," He said, "Go to Earth, go to Vulcan, go to Andoria for all I care, but as long as DSG is a prime target for Fito, I don't want you here. It's too dangerous and I realize now, that you're not in the condition to fight in battles."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa's jaw fell open as he asked her to leave. She stuttered slightly.

"I...I.."

She gasped and looked at Ian in the eyes, he was serious. Tears fell from her eyes. She knew he would never mean perminent, as he just said, it was while the station was a prime canidate for Fito to attack, at anypoint.

"Where do I go?" she whispered. She looked down and gasped back a sob.

"I mean, father's busy with his duties, Vulcan has...nothing there anymore, I mean it's home and..."

T'Sa looked up and shruged.

"I...I don't know where Nicodemus is..."

The tears fell from Ian's words. She'd just said she'd do what Ian asked, but this...a part of her wanted to fight it to the end.

"I may be...sick, but I am not an invalid. I just have to...work hard."

T'Sa looked down at the touching hands of the two.

"Where would I go for my treatments? Where would I live? How..."

T'Sa looked up and whispered, "How could I protect you?"

Ian held his hand up, "T'Sa, go to Earth. I know you haven't been there for a while. Go somewhere, where the war is not."

He smiled at her, his usual sheepish one.

"I don't need protection anymore," He said, "Besides, in this state, it isn't safe for you. I'm not saying I want you out of here forever, but just until this blows over. No one here is calling you an invalid..."

He leaned forward, "It's the logical thing to do."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa smiled and looked at Ian.

"You're using logic againts me, Ian Xavier."

T'Sa chuckled softly. She jokengly poked at him.

"That's not fair."

She sighed deeply and looked around. She nodded slowly.

"Very well. I will... take a vacation, of the sort."

She nodded. She looked to him.

"I cannot go anywhere untill I figure out where Nicodemus went."

T'Sa sighed slightly.

"He probably packed his ship full, and went to a nearby system. Doubtful He'd go very far.."

T'Sa blushed slightly.

"He'd want to...protect me."

T'Sa looked to Ian sheepishly. It was the first time she'd talk to him about a...partner like this. She had relationships in the past, but clearly, they never worked.

She looked at Ian.

"Enough about me," she whispered, "Tell me about your life lately"

T'Sa stood slowly and picked up the empty dishes and cups. She moved over to the replicator and placed them to be recycled.

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready-Room-

Archer grabbed a PADD and started to look it over as he made his way to the bridge. Ian had made Archer the fleet commander. Archer accepted. Despite the situation, it was quite an honor to be asked to be a fleet commander. He had not yet been able to to tell Ian about Joanne Taylor. Archer frowned, he'd hated telling about deaths. Being a captain, he knew all to well, it's something that you did often.

Ian felt surprised that T'Sa asked him about his life lately. She had been with him for the past few months, so there was nothing really new at the moment. He shrugged, not really having anything new to say.

"I...uh...I'm giving Ziona her space right now..." He said.

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Bridge-

First officer Benson, holding a PADD for the captain, approached his ready room and chimed the door.

T'Sa nodded and looked to Ian.

"Her father," she whispered, not really talking to Ian.

T'Sa moved towards him.

"I must admit, I was...surprised to find out that your relationship evolved to...sharing quarters."

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready-Room-

Archer looked up at the doors.

"Enter," he ordered.

Archer moved back towards his desk and sat down, obviously, someone needed to speak to him for a moment.

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian smiled and stared down at the table, nodding in agreement.

"Yeah," He said, "It was fast...but I just didn't like all of this waiting anymore. I feel like I'm making up for lost time. I haven't gone on a date since..."

He laughed loudly when he realized how long it had been.

"...since I was an ensign on DS7." He said.

His eyes glazed over as he became lost in the memory of his first posting. It was of course, the station he was born and raised on, DS7. He had been so cocky back then. Something happened later on that would straighten him out into the serious man he was now.

"I don't know what it is," He said, "But...I feel something for Ziona. Not just emotional wise, but almost spiritually. As if I was tied to her..."

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready Room-

Commander Benson entered the room quickly after being called in.

"Captain or should I call you fleet captain?" He joked.

He handed Archer the PADD that he had requested earlier.

"I've gotten a report of every commanding officer on each ship, as requested." He said.

The PADD showed a list of each starship and it's commanding officer in the 5th fleet, which was now under Xavier's command, while led by Archer himself.

1) USS Latin (Saber class)-Captain M'Tress (Catian)
2) USS Munich (Steamrunner class)-Captain Marko Schweitzer (Human)
3) USS Nagasaki (Akira class)-Captain Sovor (Vulcan)
4) USS Kyoto (Akira class)-Commander Ghaa Thorol (Tellarite)
5) USS Bailly (Nova class)-Captain Sandra Soto (Human)
6) USS Discovery (Intrepid class)-Lieutenant Commander Skolorr (Andorian)
7) USS Cerberus (Prometheus class)-Captain Saij Ut (Rigillian)
8) USS Madras (Ambassador class)-Captain Michael Westmore (Human)
9) USS San Antonio (Excelsior class)-Captain Tulak (Vulcan)
10) USS Radical (Defiant class)-Captain Chein Sojah (Bajoran)
11) USS Milky Way (Galaxy class)-Captain Cain Sebastian (Human)
12) USS Quasar (Galaxy class)-Captain James Graham (Terra Novan)
13) USS Nottingham (Miranda class)-Lieutanent Commander Gozex (Bolian)
14) USS Monarch (Soveriegn class)-Commander Emma Creed (Human)

Benson leaned forward and motioned towards the PADD.

"You're in command of the USS Monarch," He explained, "The captain suffered severe trauma from a blow to the head. He's currently in stasis and is being transfered to DSG."

He leaned back in his seat, continuing to explain.

"If you scroll down," He said, "You'll see the damage of each ship and how long it should take until repairs are completed. The colors depict the state of damage. Red really bad, yellow is mildly bad, and green is good to go. You'll find that none are green..."

Benson was shocked when he gained the reports and read them. How could Starfleet leave an overworked, understaffed, and heavily damaged fleet to protect the Neutral zone from the Nautolians?

1) USS Latin-Days
2) USS Munich-Days
3) USS Nagasaki-Hours(Possibly a day)
4) USS Kyoto-One day
5) USS Bailly-One day
6) USS Discovery-Days
7) USS Cerberus-Days
8) USS Madras-Days
9) USS San Antonio-MANY Days
10) USS Radical-Hours
11) USS Milky Way-Days
12) USS Quasar-Hours
13) USS Nottingham-Days
14) USS Monarch-Hours

Benson frowned, "I asked the engineers for a detailed report on every problem with the each ships. You'll have it within the hour sir."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa nodded as he spoke. When he was speaking of a connection to Ziona, she was thinking of hers, to Nic.

..."As if she somehow, compleatss you." T'Sa finished for him. She had to explore feelings for Nic in the last couple days, and realized Ian just put them into words.

"You'd do anything for her..."

T'Sa thought back to Nic asking her to be his..., the human term would be, girlfriend.

"Ian," T'Sa chuckled and smiled, "You just..."

She shruged.

"Nicodemus, he's certainly...differnt. I mean, he's..."

T'Sa blushed.

"I'm sorry, we were talking about you."

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready-Room-

Archer nodded as Benson spoke. He read over the status of the ships and sighed. Archer looked up to the man.

"Good, I want the engines, and shieldls, and weapons of each ship to be a prioity one."

He looked down.

"Aside from life support of course,"

He sighed and set the pad down.

"Commander, you know full well, despite the estmated repair time, we will need each vessel combat ready, at a moments notice?"

Archer set the PADD down. He looked to Benson. The man had proven him self time, and time again, just how he is in combat.

"Commander, I want you to report to the Nottingham, and take command, Remind Commander Gozex, it's to alleviate his current staffing problem, and that it is only temporary."

Archer sighed as he studied the man's reactions. The ship he just got was one of the worst ones, repair wise. Of course, Benson once flew a runabout in a straffing run agaings a renagade Klingon vessel. He could handel it.

"Have Commander Reed," he said, elimianating the Lieutenant part, as many people tend to do with the rank, "Report to the Discovery"

Archer stood and looked out the veiwport in his office. The blue glow from the stations interrior made for an errie, and yet soothing glow. Many times, he found him self staring at that glow.

"Commander, this war..."

Archer shook his head and looked back to Benson.

"It would seem, we have our work cut out for us, my friend."

Archer went to a cabnit and took out to glasses, and a bottle of bronze liquad.

"Join me, for a drink?"

They usually did this many times, before entinring a distressing situation, at least, when they knew they were about to.

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian shook his head, "It's ok. If you'd like, I can access the records and see where it is he went."

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready Room-

Benson smiled and nodded in affirmation, absent mindedly. He trusted Archer and respected his judgement, but he had to say that he was unsure about this call. He and Reed taking control of the other ships? This could lead to a lot of resentment on the highest ranking officers on those ships, which could then lead to poor translation of orders and action. He wasn't going to argue it though. If the captain felt it was the right thing to do, he'd do it.

"Sure." He replied.

The Shuttle Okanova.
What is the cost of war? When a soldier steps out into the heat of battle, who stands at the doorway of death deciding who has killed rightfully? IF a soldier is to suffer in an environment of war, what are the wages of death? What is the toll of living?
Lieutenant Martin Molloy sat in the Pilots chair of the shuttle pondering this. The war was a most exhausting time for him having lost three close colleagues. His mind drifted, watching the Guardian Space Station grow larger as the shuttle neared the station. He thought to himself Perhaps the break will do me some good, Im much in need of a rest following the year that has gone by. He sat patiently, waiting for docking clearance. This was the price of war- more security, more procedure and more political tension.
Martin stood up, considering the time waiting for docking approval a good time to present himself properly in the Starfleet Uniform. All he was wearing was his undershirt and regulation pants. His boots lay scattered across the floor of the shuttle, meanwhile his outer jacket hung in a semi-neat fashion on the back of the pilots chair. The scruffy side of him was a part that nobody saw, to anybody else, he was a neat, debonair gentlemen. However, Martin enjoyed his double life.
He picked up his outer jacket and pulled it on and closed it up. He sat back down, collecting his ankle high boots, pulling them on and pulling up the zip. He composed himself just before the advisement of being docked.

Nearby to the docking area, The Mercury Bar.
He walked into the bar and ordered a blood orange juice, an Italian juice of a very tangy flavour. He sat up at the bar, only to be interrupted by another officer.

"Excuse me, Sir, due to the conditions we're facing in our current situation, all recreational facilities including restaurants and bars are off limits. I'm very sorry, Sir, but I will have to ask you to leave" the officer said in al almost robotic discourse.

Martin rolled his eyes but concurred "I see your point, Ensign, i'll be on my way, just allow me to finish this last sip."

"No, right now, Sir. These are direct orders."

Martin laughed at the prospect of a subordinate officer telling him how to spend his time and replied "Young man, I told you that I will comply to your...request, please let me finish my drink, i've been stuck in a shuttle for a while."

The Ensign stepped forward and placed his hand on his arm, gripping it "Now, Sir, I am under direct orders."

Martin snapped his grip away, rising to his feet and firmed his tone "You're taking yourself just a little seriously, perhaps you could do with a drink" Martin offered, raising his drink as if to say cheers, however, the officer waved his hand over the drink causing it to drop from Martin's hand. Martin shoved him saying "You're about to learn a lesson in respecting your fellow officer".

The Ensign swung his fist at Martin who ducked and punched the him in the abdomen, the Ensign bellowed, Martin pushed him back onto the bar. The Ensign responded with a head-butt, pushing him back into one of the tables which collapsed beneath Martins weight. Martin got to his feet, wiping the blood running from his lower lip, the Ensign stepped forward, Martin did a butterfly kick into his chest, the Ensign fell back, Martin grabbed him by the throat and whispered "Cheers" before jabbing the Ensign in the stomach with his elbow.

The man behind the bar stepped back, his expression frozen with horror. Martin took and breath and addressed the barman saying " Get this man a bloody Mary or something like it to match the colour of his face". Martin paid him and exited the bar.

+ 3 Dilithium. Good post.

Special Bonus: Type XI Phaser . Wonderful attention to detail. Especially knowing that deck 720 was one of the levels of the Promenade.

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa nodded quickly.

Please do," She said, "he is..."

T'Sa sighed and shook her head.

"These...feelings, I have to explore them. He envokes something in me, Ian. Sometthing that..."

She looked at him carfully.

"I've never felt it before" She whispered.

T'Sa studied his reaction, usually, a Vulcan would never reveal such...personal information, but there was very little Ian and T'Sa didn't know about each other.

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready Room-

Archer poored some of the liquad into both glasses and sat down.

"I realize, that there may be some...problems, on those vessels," Archer said as he raised his glass, "But, the need your support."

Archer took a sip and sighed.

"Lieutenants Smith, and Burroughs, take them with you. Have Cadet Damas report to Captain Xavier. I will ask if there is anyone he can spare. The rest of the crew, re assign as your descritsion, save for enough to man the vessel to take on casualties."

Archer took another sip, more like a gulp.

"Damn this war."

-DSG, T'Sa's Quarters-

Ian smiled, completely understanding how T'Sa felt.

"I understand," He said, "Don't worry about it."

He grabbed the empty cup and walked towards the replicator. Gently, he placed it inside and watched it vanish.

"Computer," He called out, "Please give me the Ops report on the ships that have left within the past 5 hours."

The computer beeped and began to spout off the list.

"The USS Rising, USS Congo, NDT New York, NDT-" IT said but Ian cut off.

"No no no no," He said, "I need the destination for the civilian craft owned by Nicodemus Errol Thiandrus."

He waited for a moment as the computer searched it's records. Finally, it beeped and responded in it's usual feminine voice. It took some getting used to for Ian. The computer literally used to have a personality when Ian first came onboard. To this day, no one knew why or how. Lieutenant Grey managed to restore the original computer.

"That record does not exist." It replied.

Ian looked up in surprise, "What!? The ship is still in space dock?"

"Negative." It said.

Ian shot a suspicious look towards T'Sa.

"Do you know when it left?" He asked.

The computer said, "Last known time it was in space dock was stardate 58770.46 at 0400 hours."

Ian translated that in his head, "That means it left with the transports but did not register it's destination."

He looked back at T'Sa.

"Why would this...Nic do that?" He asked.

Everyone was required to report their destination. Usually, people that were hiding something didn't...

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready Room-

Benson nodded while take a swig of the liquer. He cringed from it's strong taste.

"Phew," He said looking at the glass, "That's nice..."

He looked back at Archer.

"Don't worry sir," He said, "If we can handle Klingons and Jem'Hadar, we can handle Nautolians. I mean...they're what? Evolved fish?"

-DSG, Level 683, Room 201, T'Sa's Quarters-

T'Sa's eyes widdened in fear. She looked to Nic and started panting.

"He...Hey wouldn't!"

T'Sa got up and looked around nerviously. She stuttered and she spoke, worried soemthing was wrong, although she could be jumping to conclusions.

"He always makes records of where he is going, and his flight plans," T'Sa explained, "He even goes to sickbay, to get a check up before he leaves, and after he arrives!"

T'Sa paced nerviously, getting worked up. T'Sa whimpered slightly, not knowing what to do. This was a strange feeling to her, all she knew though, was she did not like it, not one bit.

"Ian," She said, her voice filled with an alien sound, even to T'Sa. Fear.

"I...I couldn't get ahold of him when we came back, when we got back."

T'Sa looked to Ian, a pleading look filled her face. T'Sa felt goosebumps on her skin,

"What if he is hurt?" She whispered.

-USS Hippocratic Oath, Ready Room-

Archer smiled at Benson's reaction to the liquor.

"Glad you like," He said simply.

He chuckled at his comment about the Nautolians, and being evolved fish.

"Heh, something like that, Commander. Although, they'll filet you with out hesitation, so watch your back."

-Nearby the Docking area, The Mercury Bar-

Stone, followed by several security officers walked into the bar, after being called about the disturbance. However, they had just missed the officer that caused it. Stone looked around and motioned for the guards to follow her. Alicia walked down the corridor, going around a corner, and saw someone walking off.

"Halt!"

Alicia quickened her pace, as the officers behind her did to.

"Stop, by order of station security!"

-Nearby the Docking area, The Mercury Bar-

Martin walked back toward his shuttle thinking to himself what a silly twit he was. Knowing that was he did was wrong, his pace gradually increased until he heard a female voice calling after him, not by name, but enough to get the idea.

Martin stopped and turned around to be met by a female officer accompanied by other security officers, all armed.

Martin adjusted his charming tone to one more suited of a professional Starfleet Officer "Affirmative" he responded.
