-Romulan Warbird Salara-

Kiris and Cory had taken to repairing the ship once more. This time the damage sustained hadnt been as bad so it didnt take as long to repair. Kiris rested his head on a console. He didnt know what he wanted at this point. There were so many things that he needed. When he was growing up he needed his father. Though the times when NTran was needed most he was no where to be found. Laura never talked about it but NTran leaving them behind hit her harder than she realized. Kiris noticed she hadnt left the Salara since theyd been reunited. Kiris also noticed that Laura hadnt said anything about the relationships shed been in prior to reuniting with NTran. Even though they had been apart for years she still knew how to read him like a favorite book. She knew what bothered him and there wasnt anything she could do about it. Subconsciously she wondered if her being human had anything to do with it.

Cory had taken to wandering the corridors. He didnt have anything at the moment to take care of. Since theyd returned to the Salara Cory wondered why they had just been beamed off in the first place. Laura had told them that what she talked about with the Admiral had been classified. She told them that if anyone asked that was the response that they should give. He also wondered how Tessa was doing. They hadnt been apart like this for a long time.

Commander TRell hadnt left the bridge in some hours. He wanted to be here if NTran called. Unfortunately a key component of their cloaking device had been destroyed. So they couldnt cloak. Not that it would help anyway. TRell noticed that Admiral Ditex continually tried to change the opinion of the Starfleet Captain Xavier. TRell knew why Ditex did it. NTran had felt the weight of everything coming down on him. He needed something from someone. Why he went to the Starfleet captain still eluded TRell.

-Romulus, Unknown Alley Way, Capitol City-

Sub-Commander Satil had seen the error of what hed done. He wasnt as perceptive as Commander TRell was. Satil now knew that something was bothering NTran otherwise he wouldnt have thrown him off the ship the way he did. When Ditex left Romulus he asked Satil to accompany him. Satil knew that NTran wasnt as heartless as he appeared to be at times. Though now Satil wasnt sure. NTran had always listened to the concerns of his officers until now. Satil stopped walking and sat down, back to a wall. He didnt know what he would do or where he could go. If the Tal Shiar found him hed be executed. He considered removing the Salara's I.D. patch from his uniform but then he knew it wouldn't matter. If he was found they'd know who he was and where he came from.

-GTarkin-

NTran had left the bridge awhile ago. Hed needed to have some alone time. NTran sealed himself in a set of quarters. He wished he was back on the Salara now. Then he could be in a place where he was comfortable.

KorTagh heard the incoming communication.
NTran is indisposed at the moment. Standby for transport.

+2 Dilithium. Good char. turmoil.

-Senate, Corridor-

"You can be out of trouble up there," He said, "That's what."

He looked around, wondering where exactly the Romulan officer would be.

"I know some Romulan writing," He said, "But I don't think I'll need it."

Quote:
KorTagh heard the incoming communication.
NTran is indisposed at the moment. Standby for transport.

Ian held the communicator to his mouth.

"Mr. Kor'Tagh," He said, "Please scan for the Romulan's life sign. I have no clue where to start."

He wondered why the Klingon ship couldn' simply lock onto the Romulan and beam him onboard, rather then make Ian search for him.

-Senate, Corridor-

T'Sa nodded slowly. She handed Ian her disrupter, so he'd have a second one.

"Be carful," She whispered.

T'Sa steped back and awaited the transport. Whe she could do besides wait, she didn't know. Perhaps, they had a science station she could occupy and make sure Ian was safe.

-G'Tarkin, Bridge-

"We lost his com signal a short while ago. Last time we knew he was headed toward the capitol." Kor'Tagh turned to the ops officer.
"Beam the said officers aboard." The Ops officer complied.

-Senate, Chambers-

"Acknolwedged." He said.

He nodded to T'Sa and stepped away from the trio.

"I'll see you soon..." He said.

As soon as they beamed away, he turned and rushed towards the nearest exit. Somewhere, the Romulan was outside. He rushed out, clutching the disruptor under his grey shouldered jacket. He didn't want any of the Romulan guards to see a Human Starfleet officer, armed, running down their corridors.

-Romulus, Capitol-

After running around for several minutes, he found an exit and made his way outside. Several Romulans looked at him in surprise. It was certainly not everyday that a Starfleet officer was running around on their planet. He stared at the rather massive capitol and realize this was going to take a long time...

-G'Tarkin, Transporter Room-

T'Sa looked around then steped off the Pad of the transporter. She moved though the doors out into the cooridor and ran down the corridor to the bridge. She walked though the doors as they rumbled open. The smell of the Klingon ship was very unpleasent. She looked around.

"Pardon me, but May I have access to a sensor station, so that I can assist captain Xaiver in his search?"

-Romulus, Capitol-

Ian ran his fingers through his hair and stepped out into the streets. They were strangely empty. No doubt the military forces demanded the civilians to go home during this crisis. He noticed Romulan officer patrolling the streets and quickly rushed to hide from them. They would no doubt arrest him and do God knows what. He crouched in the shadows and waited for the Romulan patrols to go by...

-DSG, OPS-

Jones detected an incoming hail, but it was from the colony, not the fleet.

"Governor Al-Firdos is hailing us." He said.

-Deep Space Guardian, Ops-

Archer noticed Blake was busy dealing with something at a station. He looked like he didn';t even hear Jones Archer cleared his throat and nodded to Jones.

"Uh...Onscreen."

-DSG, Sickbay-

Alicia looked around and couldn't find anyone. She sighed to her self.

"Computer, activate EMH."

-G'Tarkin-

T'Sa shifted after she had made a request. No one seemed to pay anymind to her. She looked back to Ziona and frowned. What that poor woman must be going though. T'Sa steped over and looked at her carfuly. She narrowed her eyes as she thought over things to say.

"Don't assume the worst," T'Sa whispered.

-DSG, OPS-

Jones sat back in his seat, staring up at the large viewscreen. Governor Al-Firdos was staring down into OPS from his vantage point.

"Where...is captain Xavier?" He asked.

Archer gave a curt nod to the man.

"Governor Al-Firdos, The Captain is indisposed at the moment, is there something I can do for you?"

Archer cleared his throat.

Politics....

-DSG, OPS-

Governor Al-Firdos calmly spoke, wondering where the station captain was.

"I know you're evacuating the station," He said, "What is happening?"

He didn't really appreciate being left in the dark about matters that involved the space station that was made to guard them.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

Archer looked to the governor. It had sliped his mind he did not yet know about the evacuation, and why.

"The civilians are being evacuated, because of Romulus. The Nautolians are invading the system, the Romulus system I mean. Due to it's close proximity, the station is most likely the next target."

Archer steped towards the viewscreen.

"We will, work with you, on your own evacuation."

-Romulus, Streets of the Capitol-

Ian left the dark alley he was hiding in. The Romulan patrols were gone, but he didn't know for how long. He quickly walked out into the streets, looking for the lost Romulan. A part of him wondered if the Romulan had been captured. If that was the case, then this is hopeless.

-DSG, OPS-

Governor Al-Firdos, "You want us to evacuate?"

Archer sighed. He nodded slowly.

"I'm afraid...there isn't much of a choice, Mr. Governor. You see, the very real threath of a Nautolian attack on this station is quiet real. They could very well take the system. If they do, anyone, and everyone, is in danger. We simply feel the best to do, is to evacuate non-Starfleet."

-GTarkin-

The Romulan at the transporter controls stepped down.
You can access a sensor console from the bridge. If any of you are feeling ill you can go to crew quarters.

-Salara, Crew Quarters-

Kiris still had his head down on a console. He vaguely heard the door open and close. A moment later he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked up and saw Laura.
Mother, Is something the matter? She sat down next to him.
Why do you think your father is the way he is? Kiris was still a little groggy.
Father doesnt like to talk about his feelings. He keeps them bottled up and its breaking down his discipline. Its killing him Laura nodded.
He needs help but hell never ask for it. We have to do something Kiris, or else your father will die because of the stress. Kiris didnt like thinking about this. He loved his father for coming back but hated him because he left in the first place.
What do you suggest doing? Laura looked a little worried but started to speak.
We need to get him to talk to a counselor or something. He wont agree to it willingly so well have to force him. Kiris knew it was probably the best thing.
I suggest we talk to Commander TRell. Well need him to back us.

-Romulus, Streets of the Capitol-

Satil was getting cold. He hated not being in a comfortable environment. He was about to nod off when he heard footsteps outside the alley. Satil poked his head out. It was the Starfleet captain that had gotten him kicked off the ship. Satil looked around for something to use as a weapon. He found a steel pipe lying on the ground next to him. Satil picked it up and stepped into the street.
Human, were alone here. No one will here your calls for help.

-DSG, OPS-

Al-Firdos looked hesitant, not really prepared to abandon the colony they had been building the past several months. He spoke to someone off the screen and then looked back at the captain.

"I'll prepare my people," He said, "But...will we be able to return?"

-Romulus, Streets of the Capitol-

Ian stopped suddenly when he noticed the Romulan appear on the street. He threatened Ian with a steel pipe he had picked up. Ian's fingers clutched the disruptor that was under his zipped open jacket. At that moment, he was glad that T'Sa had give him the weapon. Unfortunately, the Romulan was far too close to yank the weapon out. Ian could tell he was ready to strike the moment Ian moved. He might not get a shot in before being bludgeoned to death with the pipe. Suddenly, Ian recognized the Romulan from the ship. It had been the one he was sent to look for.

"Satil?" He asked, forgetting his rank, "Wait...drop your weapon. I'm not here to hurt you. Admiral N'Tran sent me to retrieve you..."

He clutched the hilt of the disruptor but did not dare pull it out.

"He wants you to come back," He said, "We're leaving....ok?"

Archer nodded.

"Of course," he said, "If all goes well, you won't be gone for long. We just need to make sure no one gets killed by the Nautolians."

-G'Tarkin, Bridge-

T'Sa looked at a Sensor display. She studdied the information displayed to her. She found Ian's combadge, and after caful scanning, Found Ian. She noticed him in close proximity to another Romulan. Perhaps the very one he was sent to find.

-DSG, OPS-

Governor Al-Firdos cast a sad look, then simply nodded.

"Elerran colony out." He said.

The screen cut off and the mood in OPS was certainly somber. The civilians were leaving and the station was now waiting...but for what? An imminent invasion?

"Captain Archer," He said, "The USS Madras is hailing the station."

-DSG, Sickbay-

The EMH shimmered into view in front of Alicia Stone. At the same moment, Nurse O'Harra appeared from another section of sickbay.

"Why is it that impatient patients always activate the hologram when we don't come rushing out?" She joked.

The EMH held his hand up to protest, but O'Harra quickly deactivated him. She scooped up a medical tricorder and approached the officer.

"What happened to you?" She asked.

-Romulus, Streets of the Capitol-

If he wanted me back hed have come for me himself. However, if youll give me your communicator Ill confirm your claim.

-Romulan Warbird Salara-

You want me to relieve my superior officer of duty?!?!?! TRell sounded furious.
I assume you have regulations for relieving officers of duty? TRell nodded.
Of course, but I dont see its necessary. Laura knew that TRell would defend NTran until the bitter end if it was required.
Hes losing his self control. Everyone else can see it. As his friend you should support us when we try to help him. TRell didnt want to hear this. He also knew, now that someone had bluntly said it, that NTran needed the help.
I will make an assement of him when he gets back. If I confirm what youve told me I will relieve him of command. If not, you will inform him that you think hes mentally unfit for duty. Laura nodded.
Agreed.

"By all means," He said, "Take it. Contact him and I can go home..."

-DSG, Ops-

Archer nodded. The name sounded farmiliar.

"Put them up."

-DSG, Sickbay-

Alicia coughed, trying to regain her breath. She wiped at her nose.

"I was jumped by several un ruly civilians. They tried to.."

Alicia shuddred at what they could have done.

-G'Tarkin, Bridge-

T'Sa noticed Ian and the Romulan were still near each other. She hated to do this, it could be a danger, but there was no choice. She activated a com.

"T'Sa to Captain Xavier, please respond. We've made it to the G'Tarkin."

((T'Sa wouldn't have been able to use the com without asking.))

-Romulus, Streets of the Capitol-

Satil took the communicator.
Sub-Commander Satil to Admiral Ditex. There was a short pause.
Is Captain Xavier there with you? Satil raised an eyebrow.
He is sir. Should Idispose of him? The com crackled again.
No, just get back to the ship. We all need to get out of here. Give the communicator back to Xavier and standby for transport. Satil handed him the communicator back. A moment later they disappeared into a matter stream.

--G'Tarkin, Transporter Room--
Federation Councilor James Christopher Watts, Federation Council representative of Earth, materialized in the transporter room of the Klingon Bird of Prey G'Tarkin.

He had pretty much let Xavier and T'Sa run the show at this point, feeling oddly out of place there. There was nothing he could do, sadly. He had felt powerless in front of the Romulans, a Federation government official unable to serve any good for his fellow man and an empire that needed to continue to thrive, for the good of all.

He sighed as T'Sa left the room. The situation continued to deteriorate, it seemed, and the Federation would not get involved. He was annoyed at the body politic of the Federation. The politics of corruption and corruption of politics had seeped their way to the very core of the Federation, and this he regreted. Politics trumped security, he knew, and that was indeed a sad, sad thing. He wondered just how much longer the Federation would continue to exist, considering the state of things.

-G'Tarkin, Transporter Room-

Ian rematerialized inside of the transporter room and noticed the councilor and Ziona still inside.

"We're leaving." He told them.

With that, he made his way to the bridge. Finally...it was time to go home. There was no hope left for Romulus...

((Well, T'Sa Does have a communicator.))

-G'Tarkin, Bridge-

T'Sa noticed Ian hadn't a chance to respond. She pursed her lips when the Romulan asked if Ian should be...disposed of. The smart thing was said though, and that was avoided. Luckily for them. T'Sa stood and moved though the bridge and down the corridor for the transporter room. She looked though the doors, at Ian when she arrived.

"Your back," She said softly.

-DSG, Ops-

Archer stood, awaiting for whomever was hailing from the ship to come on the screen.

Just another day in the neghborhood.

Archer thought to himself.

DSG, Sickbay

Alicia sighed as she sat up on the bio-bed slowly. She moaned from the pain that hit her. Those damned bastards. She would now be more cuatious arund them. She also wanted to know what it was they had stayed behind for.
