Who would have wanted to see Janeway and Chakotay together?

After Resolutions, you sawthat it wasnt going to happen. But all those candlelit dinners- I think they were made for each other...

Funny, I've got a best friend who's a guy. He's the one who supported me during my SO's terminal illness, he's the one who supported me after my SO died. We'll never be more than friends, yet I often have him to dinner, and when I have people over for dinner, we eat by candlelight.

We also go out to expensive restaurants (like Jeri's

), which are oh-so-terribly romantic.

And never once have we even kissed each other good night.

Men and women can be friends--good friends. And maybe you appreciate them more the older you get.

I liked seeing a close friendship that didn't need to turn into romance. We don't see enough of that on TV.
