The national average is currently $2.38 per gallon, and it's expected to go down by 15 cents soon. There's a lot of talk about the national average going down to $2.00 by the holidays, which would be great for everybody, giving them more money to spend on gifts and whatnot and helping the economy.

It would help A LOT if it was 2.00 a gallon. My father is on the road all the time, back down to that much, would make him happy

$2.59 I paid yesterday. Prices are still fairly high here, Oregon is some of the worst, but it's getting much better.

Been fluctuating around $2.05 for the past couple of days. We pass a lot of gas stations on the way to school in the morning on the bus. The lowest I've seen is $2.01.
