Well, you did ask in another topic, but being as that topic was about your fave kind of uniform...

It all depends on who's selling, and how much of the uniform they are selling. It will still be pricy, but getting the shirt will be cheaper then the whole uniform for example. Try E-Bay, costume shops, that sort of thing. Costume shops MIGHT be able to answer some questions for you.

There are a lot of places online that sell them...I would just google search it or something. But for me (I'm also currently in the market) buying things online is hard because I don't fit into standard sizes. I don't know if that is the case for you. I know the local stores in most of southern california don't carry them. I've really tried everything. I know the local theatre supply store has a pattern in their costuming supply catalauge though. Too bad that is the one craft I stink at (or, well, never tried). Maybe if you can sew you could do something like that, which also gives you a lot more controll over fit and material/decorations...really the entire outcome. (I've also seen other patterns out there online or in farbric stores that carry patterns)... Or have a seamstress/Taylor make you one... every town has some sort of seamstress or taylor or someone who could do that as well. I don't know...random ideas here.
