Josi follows her Commanding officer. She knows he isn't going to be easy on her. She enters the readyroom and stands at attention.

At that order, he waits paitently for her to comply.

Josi does as she's told and sits. She doesn't dare say anything after thinking her actions over from earlier.

USS Warlord, Bridge

Syd remains seated, frankly shocked from the recent conflict between two commanding officers on the bridge.

Normally Syd would intervene, but he wanted to see how this plays out.

"Carry on" Syd issues to the bridge crew who were all turned around looking at the Readyroom doors closing behind the two.

Josi looked at the Captain.

"Sir,I'm sorry about my actions. I shouldn't have acted that way. It was unprofessional. Personally I think the Admiral should handle this."

After saying that,Josi took the risk and called the admiral into the readyroom over the commbadge.

Commander Rockholt to Admiral Syd, please join us in the readyroom.

Josi then looked at the Captain to see if he disapproved and it didn't look like he did.

Bridge

Lt Forbes sat at her station on the bridge. She was glad the battle was over. She had been in a combat situation a few times before...but she never found it any easier. Every time she gets butterflys in her stomach and sometimes her hands start to shake. She knew it didnt only happen to her but that fact didnt really help her at all. Luckily it was over now and she, like everyone else was begining to calm down. She sat at her post silently running diagnostics on all of the science sytems

"So,can we please get this done and over with?" Josi looked back and forth between the Admiral and Captain waiting for a responce.

Sims looks Josi up and down and notices Syd enters. He nods to Syd and returns his glance towards Josi. He sighs and and directs them to two seats at the desk. "....Sit on down, both of ya. Can't have you getting achy feet, now can I?"

"So,what's the verdict? I just want to get this over with."

Sims sighs and looks at Josi.

".....Look, Josi, your attitude today on the bridge was unacceptable. Now, you know I am new to this job, okay? And we're under attack. Opening fire on me because you didn't like my judgement put the whole crew under jeopardy. Now, I know I was wrong to retaliate, but look, we need to get on, Quo'Nos isn't gonna wait for us."

Josi looks at the Admiral to see if he's going to say anything else.

"I know. I already said it was uncalled for and unprofessional of me. Certainly doesn't seem like the way a commanding officer should act,meaning me,of course."

The Admirl gives out a small sigh.

"I think the best thing we can do here is give you a formal warning Commander. Even though your objections may of been valid, they must not be carried out like that. If you have any further objections to the Captain's Orders please talk to him or myself in private and we can resolve them in private. It is no place for the First Officer of this ship to argue with the Captain in front of the entire crew."

With that,Josi got up and headed towards the Admirals quarters,making sure no one noticed.

Sims did notice Josi slipping away to Syd's quarters. Wonder what her intentions were, he silently follows behind her, wanting to find out what will be talked about.

I knew getting Syd involved would get me out of a lot of trouble. Being in a relationship with the Admiral certainly has it's perks.

Josi then looks behind her since she has the feeling she's being watched and followed.

I guess not. Now,I'll have to thank Syd for only giving me a formal warning when I should have easily been relieved of duty for a day or two and sent to the brig for insubordination.
