We are scheduled to blast off on the 21st, once Cathexis returns from her trip she's going on tonight!
So, keep watch, and we're still looking for a solid Chief Defense/Security officer and Marine commander.

Actually, I'm going to be gone from the morning of the 23rd to the evening of the 25th, so I don't know if we might wait until the 25th to start, considering it'll only be two days that we'll have to RP in it before we need to pause it, as my character, being the Captain, is key to the beginning.
I'll talk to Cathexis upon her return, and keep you all posted.

The evening of the 25th it is!
We've got a Marine (Strike Force Cobra) Commander and may get a Chief Defense/Security officer, but not a Chief Engineer. My expectation is that Cathexis and I will most likely NPC the Chief Engineer for a while, and if someone expresses interest in that position will do what we can to accomodate it, chronologically (as in, without suddenly changing Chief Engineer mid-stream).

Few things:
1. It's great to have you aboard, but weren't you going to be the Marine Commander? When you told me that I started to have someone that may join in mind for that position, so do you think that, until that's set in stone, you might be willing to take that position unless I don't get the man I'm now thinking of asking to join (well, already have, and he may join).
2. Languages. The Cuban language is Spanish and Russian and Swahili are spelt as I spelt it

Tech Sergeant, 1st Lieutenant _____ _____ (Open)

Chief Communications Officer/Navigator, 1st Lieutenant Nathasya Plevko (Tuvok8917)

Chief Research (Science)/Astrometrics Officer, 2nd Lieutenant Fox Gunman (Sonic74205)

Pilot, Ensign Matt Hardy (matthewmoorehardy774)

So what we need are Security/Tactical (which we may have) and a guy who would do well as Tech Sergeant. Bear in mind, however, that subordinate positions are open as well!

And FYI, the Trek equivalents for each rank and position within the Organization of United Earth Space Navy are as follows:

My friends, we have, at last, begun the RPG!

Please post immediately. If we do not, within the next week or so, have activity from all currently registered members, be aware that we are looking for replacements for you, so that we can get the RPG going.
However, we would, even if you are recast, really like to have you remain on the Interstellar Revolution team, so don't hesitate to request a new position!

I close by saying, Please read the entire first post. It really puts into perspective the history of the Earth from 2012 on.

Okay, at this point we're restaffing all positions except for Captain, XO, and doctor. While we will allow current members to file into their positions, we will allow people to take other members' places, as we really want to get this RPG going and we can't with only three people posting.
So, yeah. If you're interested, please let us know here! We would really love to have some of you "famous" RP'ers join as well!

I have a new, brand-spanking new TREK RPG I'd like to try out.....I'm not going to make it until I see if people are interested...

It's ....definitely pretty different from what we're all so used to seeing here at STV....

I'm really referring to the prologue here. That was a lot of time and effort put into making up all those news stories and stuff.
