Seeing as to how Voyager didn't really have a Forensics team, then he obviously had to step in as that role. But notice how they never went into the detail of Forensics? It's because the show wasn't about that and the ship didn't have a proper team on board. Of course Tuvok's not a scientist...he's a security officer.

Oh, I know what episode you're talking about. You're talking about Season 4's "Random Thoughts." Tuvok conducted an investigation. He didn't do anything with Forensics like CSI does, and the show that I'm proposing. He just conducted an investigation...Forensics deals with the positions of people, how they were shot, where they were standing in relation to the person who shot them and such things.

- I agree. No way. While I do like CSI, and while I do know there are people that were involved in ST that are involved in CSI. BUT...I can't see a ST version of CSI.

I also agree. It's simply not Star Trek, I mean...there are episodes with "investigations" but it would get boaring if it were all murder investigations, in trek I mean.

I like the idea, but i agree with what others said: It's not really Trekkish*lol.. Trekkish*
I mean, if the "new" series is going to do a murder episode, i would enjoy watching it. But if it would be like CSI or NCIS i would watch, but don't like it so much. A good murder investigation episode would be cool, but it musn't be a whole serie.
