Yeah... I was actually pushing the fact that you want to be a politician but don't really measure up yet to anyone worth voting for because you need strong arguments to win peoples favor and you haven't.....

Why put forth a strong argument about Santa and the validity of Tim Allen?

I wouldn't vote for him, but he does now how to start a good rally.
But... a republican man who is actually conservative? pfft. I don't think I can believe in HIM. But he's right. Santa is real. He's funding our war effort.

You might call me a scrooge, but I dread when Christmas gets here. Even though my family and I don't believe in Santa; all the toys I am going to trip over. j/k I do make them pick em up lol. My two youngest still believe except my oldest. Plus, all the stores will be so crowded. I have to go to Wal-Mart 3 am in the morning just to buy groceries between Nov and Dec. Cause it is so packed all the time. That's the real reason I dread Christmas. Looks like I am going to stock up on sodas and can goods before Nov and Dec.

My two younger kids just found out that there was no santa thanks to the neighbors kids. My oldest already knows that there's no you know what. I wasn't prepared when my other two come in crying ... Let's say it wasn't up to the neighbor's kids to tell mine . Kids can be cruel lol. not all though

For the purpose of this discussion Father Christmas and Santa are separate entities

What is the difference, Seven?

And you didn't try to reinforce their belief in Santa after the tragic incident, Leo?

Rm , you know my name.. It's Deb lol not Leo. Why did I have to pick that username. Well back on topic...

Yeah I told the kid's parents of what their kids said. But, they didn't care. They was extrremely rude. So, we don't speak except when they stole my lawnmower. I cursed them out and called the police... No wonder their kids so mean. They take after their parents....

I don't believe in Santa. I don't want my kids too but they aren't old enough to handle the truth like my oldest son is right now, and what the neighbor's kids done was mean. But I can't say that there's no santa on here so I got to remember that... I know I am a goof

lol, I know. I was just going by the username

And wow, yeah. I can understand that. Steal your lawnmower? What brats, and what idiotic parents. How old are these kids? Let me come on down and teach them a thing or two about respect

And why don't you want your kids to believe in Santa? I want to believe, and I do, in a way, even though I know the truth. There's nothing wrong with kids believing in Santa up to the last possible point (i.e. 8th grade, as it was for me ), IMO. I'd hope for my younger sister and my future kids to continue believing in old Saint Nick for as long as possible.

Those kids next door are 7 and 10. Why I don't want my kids believe in Santa? Cause Santa is not the real reason for Christmas. But, I am not going to get into a religion debate or bring into the topic, it will flare up arguements.

You called the cops over a stolen lawnmower that was actually next door? Only in America!

Well, I'm sure you've instilled into them the true meaning of Christmas. My parents did me and my siblings. It takes good parenting, and I think you've got that down

And Dirt, it's called stealing. There is definitely rationale to calling the police over something like this.

Well, I wouldn't have called the cops over your 7 and 10 year old neighbour kids stealing your lawnmower. Just take it back, big deal. Seems it would be better for your neighbour to neighbour relationship! Buuuuuuuuuut, you are correct it is stealing!

What none of you realize is that Santa IS real, and that our evil machine to utterly take over the world is funded on milk and cookies. He's funding our war efforts, by giving you toys. Think carefully about wether or not that barbie doll is worth total world domination. Of course, now that I've disclosed this, I'll have to whipe your memory, so if you'll please look into this special video game machine...

Yeah, actually it just depends on the quality of your tooth as to how much you get. I guess your teeth just don't cut it .

Pfffffffft. I got about five bucks a tooth. Cheap. Less than a dollar a year!

And there is no Easter Bunny, either. It's the Easter Beagle. Get with it, people!

Oh, and if I ever have children, ha ha ha ha! I'll teach them about Santa. Why not? It's better than reality, and a good imagination is key to sanity.
