Yes, so as you can see from what CJ Cregg has shown, the IRA had plotted and attacked Britain far more than Al-Qaeda. And remember, too, that Al-Qaeda is over-stretched......it is focusing on many countries. The IRA was just focused on Britain, well, both England and N. Ireland in particular. So, Al-Qaeda hasn't got the same "fear" as what the IRA had. Another thing too is that, and not to be racist or discriminating but you can pick out an Arab quite easily and get suspicious but with the IRA, it was a different matter, especially since the Irish look the same as the English so there was certainly more "uncertainity" in that factor when easily, IRA members could just "blend in" with the British public.

And also, the IRA did recieve alot of foreign weapons shipments, especially I believe from Libya, so they were dealing internationally aswell.

I think that they put way too much into filling the newscasts with 9/11 memorial stuff. I think it totally sucks that people died and that terror was successful.

That besides, I believe that you only feed terror by bringing it up again and that the families probably get really depressed hearing about the tragedy every 5 seconds on the news around this time.

It was also weird, because half the stores around town were closed and half werent. Make up your mind America!

((Note: Do not debate about what I said, its not my intention to start any flame war or anything to that effect. I am stating my opinion. Please dont think I am unsympathetic or a terrorist.
