Fan Art Section Rules (Updated: Wednesday September 6, 2006)

In Addition to STV.COM rules:

1. Hot linking:
STV will no longer tolerate hot linked images. This means you can not directly link an image from another website except for the following:

Image Shack
Photobucket
Tiny Pic

Or another form of Photo uploading website, this is to prevent bandwidth drain on other websites.

2. Use of other peoples work:
From now on, if you use an image or display work made by someone other then you, credit MUST be given. Examples:

Credit to: (author, creator etc... names here)

If you do not know the name of the person, or persons, simply write:

Credit to original creators/authors/posters etc...

STV moderators WILL be on the watch for this from now on.

3. Content:
This has never really been a problem, but I am still going to mention this. Offensive Content is not allowed. I would hope that you the reader understand what is generally not appropriate for a public all ages message board.

4. Image Sizes:
I am going to ask that you make sure your image sizes are reasonable, Let's remember not everyone has a big screen or broadband, please post a smaller version, roughly 800 x 600 (I will allow some leeway here), and yes, you may post a link to the original version/size so that those who wish to, may see the image as the artist intended.
