PostFri Jul 28, 2006 4:49 pm    Battlestar: Galactica-Season 3

What do you guys think of the show if you watch it? I love the show. And besides the poll...

For people who watch the show:

What did you think of the season 2 finale? Are you looking forward to the 3rd season? When I was at Comic Con in San Diego, I was able to sit in on a panel with Edward James Olmos, James Callies, Aaron Douglas, Lucy Lawless, Ronald D. Moore and a couple of other producers and they had some interesting things to say about season 3 coming up as well as doing an exclusive preview of season 3. And as Edward James Olmos said, "This is the darkest show I've ever done. Consider the last 2 seasons to be the 'light episodes.'"

October sometime, Hopefully it launches in the UK and US on the same day. So people don't have to download it off the Internet (like me )

Yes, i think the new Battlestar Galactica is a very, very good show. I was totally into it and was dying to see the next episode every day. My heart was in my throat a couple of episodes, thats how much i was into it.

However, the ending was strange..... Really a shame and totally unexpected.

But who knows what Season 3 might bring. Can't wait to watch it.

I love it! I don't know which season I was in, when they quit broadcasting it, here in my country. I think it's season 2,..nevertheless the climax has left me wanting for more!
With FTL drive to season 3, whoooo

Yeah I can't wait either! Bring on season 3!!! I can't wait for the 2nd part of season 2 to come out on DVD either. I still need to get the 2nd season's soundtrack. Very good music pieces. Especially the ones with the Pegasus and Admr. Cain.

I can't wait for the DVD to come out, as well. I missed a few episodes, in the latter half, that I need to catch up on. You spoke of Admiral Cain? Played by Michelle Forbes a.k.a. Ensign Ro (who is a Bajoran). heh. Had to throw that in there. Everyone knows it, anyways.

Anyways, I'm totally geeked for Season III. October, right? Yeah. I can't wait! I saw a preview on Sci-Fi Channel. Looks good. Bring on the Cylons!

MakeItSo? You are so lucky...getting to go to ComicCon and sit at a panel with the BSG cast and crew...Lucky!

Yes, I can't wait either! I'm am so excited. You know, right now, I'd almost, just barely have to say that I like this show better than any Star Trek show. Because it's so gritty and real. I mean I love Star Trek, but this show has so many elements to it, that I can't believe so much happened during the 2nd season. And yes Michelle Forbes. She's awesome! She was a *beep* wasn't she? I wanted her to be on longer but I loved to her hate her as Cain.

But yeah, Comic Con was awesome. I went with my boyfriend and we were both really excited to see the cast. The room that we were in was so huge too! It was a ballroom hall that we were in and I never realized quite how popular the show was until I saw the room so full as it was. Lucy Lawless and James Callies were damn funny too when they were talking. They said at the panel that a Cylon would die, and they said said that a Cylon was going to be discontinued as if it was going to be boxed up and put away forever in a way. Like no more copies. I'm not sure if they meant that that was the way the Cylon would die, or a Cylon would die, and then another would possibly be discontinued. It should be interesting. You definitely need to see the rest of the episodes of the 2nd season. Did you see the season 2 finale? The 2nd part of the DVD for the 2nd season comes out in mid September I believe. A good episode to watch would be "Downloaded" towards the end of the 2nd season if you haven't seen it already. It opens up a lot of things...and more questions as well.

I'm about ready to go crazy though. I want the 3rd season to start already. I know it starts in October but I'm not sure when exactly. I'm getting antsy about it.

It took me so long to get over the ending to season 2. I was literally shouting at the TV for several minutes before my dad forced me to leave the room. And I was pretty miffed for many weeks later.

But I've accepted it now--what can you do? I'm sure that they will continue to be brilliant.

Perhaps Balthar would be more like in the original series now.

BSG is the best sci-fi series ever. That's saying a lot, but I think it's accurate.

I can't wait for season 3 to start. I'm a little disappointed that they moved their premiere a view months back instead of starting late summer like the first two seasons.

Yeah me too. Then it's back to not doing anything Friday night when that comes on. Unless I download it off of itunes or something.

Did the graphics look rubbish?

It sounds like you are talking about the 1970 BSG.

We are all talking about the 2000's BSG
