You're only allowed to choose programs which have been mentioned on the episodes?

Sherlock Holmes. Not with Data playing Holmes, I want the "real" Holmes. That program was really cool, and I am convinced that I would've married Holmes (Assuming he was real and I lived back then). That would be such fun.

WWII. somewhere in the European theatre. Maybe the battle on Crete or Invasion of Italy. I like the Mediterranean.

Only seen on the shows? I'd probably choose one of Bashir's secret agent programs. The idea of me pertending to be James Bond type guy sounds really awesome. Run around blowing up soviet super weapons while making out with the hott eastern European chick. FUN.

Yeah, Vic's lounge seem like a cool place to have a drink and listen to some music. I'd probably like to go in there. Not to mention, Vic would seem like a cool guy to talk to.

maybe because this is a family forum and we dont really go around saying those things,

or it could be just there are better things in life than thinking about when your next plsure will be coming from.

I mean I d rather have a sing and a dance than sit watching some holo lady strut her stuff

i wouldn't honestly do that Jupiterprime. I eman, come on. Its the olodeck fro crying outl oud. So much potential even for just an Half hour, i'm not going to waste all that potential on 2 virtual chicks and a warm tropical beach...

Relax all....Its not to say that there wouldnt be other things Id try in a holodeck, far from it, but the OP only gave me a half-hour (wink) so I figured id run what I KNOW I could complete in that amount of time - hehehehe

Wed all need a lot more than a half-hour to solve a mystery, save the world, fly a war patrol, climb a rock, enjoy some dinner/dancing/singing, watch a play, etc.

He asked, I answered, plain and simple.

Jupiter, you're bordering warning. Watch it.

I would note, I would have no intentions of solving a mystery, aside from a personal one: could I have made the 'unfeeling' sleuth fall in love with me? I think I could figure it out in a half hour! But I would be interested in Vic's program, too. Love that music. It would be cool to go dance there...I'd love it.

Yeah that would be awesome! I'd probably do the same thing. Except in my case, I'd want to make out with a hot eastern European guy, lol. Anyway other programs from the shows, I'd pick Picard's 30's/40's detective story ones or Captain Proton. I think it would also be really fun to play Velocity against someone on the holodeck.

Hmmmm only on the shows, what else is there.....

Oh!

Not the most interesting story, ever (I find it kinda lame, but it's history)

The Orient express. Like I said, it's history.

Hmmm...this may seem kinda lame, but I would say the holodeck program of a battle simulation aboard Voyager. I couldn't think of anything cooler than being of of those guys doin' their stuff.
