Well im impressed that you have had your noob topic since before i have joined the forum..NOT!!! I was watching star trek when it first came out in 1966 until now, long before you were a speck on the wall.Your right your entitled to your opinions, so take your comments to someone else that will respond kindly because i dont like being corrected or commented on my posts especially from you.You want an arguement just keep on posting my way

As for this topic....
What reason is there to remake the original series? Why would ANYONE do that? What is this obsession with "going back"? Why? First we had the fiasco of ENT and know we're gonna redo TOS?

You dont have to sink low your opinions of my comments are offensive enough.Why even bother making posts if you are going to attack anything i say, i wouldnt have started this arguement if you wouldnt have attacked my opinions.Mr. Mod you need to be stating your comments to both of us instead of only me,there is 2 sides of the story if you didnt notice.

My comments are offensive? you're the one who called me a fool, remember? I have not attacked everything you said. I simply asked why you wish to have the original series remade and tarnish the great Trek premier, and you flew off the handle losing your temper.
So you have nobody to blame about starting an "argument" but yourself.

Kokori, keep it up and I'll warn you. There was absolutely no reason to lash out at Voyager2004 for what he/she said. Voyager2004 was simply stating his/her opinion and explaining it. You seemed to take offense at it for no reason, as far as I can see. That's the thing about message boards; everyone has their own opinions and can debate them with others. Your opinion isn't the only one that is to be acknowledged. I'll let you off this time, but keep it up and you'll get a warning. Enough warnings and you get some away time from the forum.
Voyager2004, I'd suggest you just ignore kokori so that you don't end up saying something worthy of getting you in trouble. Just a heads up.

And if you would take the time to actually read my posts, then you would realize that I am not, and have not ever questioned what you have written. I just want to know why you think what you are thinking. There's nothing wrong with that. Especially here. I like to know why other people think what they think. It gives an understanding. And who knows, if you would have given me a new way of thinking about remaking the old series, then I might have agreed with you. Probably not, because I'm opposed to the idea of remaking the leading Trek series, but it might have made me think.
I've never downed you or your posts, just was asking you why you wanted it remade. Just trying to understand...There's nothing wrong with that.

Why don't you just change the name: Star Trek: The Remade series of the Original series? I mean what's the use of remaking, the episodes are there, look them. We need new input. Past has been the subject to long, we need to move on past all series and go further, like 50-1000 years further.
