So, you're an Ensign, just graduated from the Academy, and - miracle of miracles- you get to choose your own assignment, under any Starfleet Captain. Who would yours be? I'd say janeway, but I don't reaaly fancy getting stuck in the Delta Quadrant...

I think Archer, he seems to really care about his crew.

Mmmm... I'd go with Sisko. He has all kinds of freaky things happen. And he's a great leader. He proves that over and over... I especially liked his mini-speech about how everyone under his command matters to him, in the ep The Siege of AR-551(?!) I think that's the right number.

I would definitly choose to serve under Sisko. Why?
A) Serving on DS9 and the Defiant would be awesome.
B) Sisko, unlike Janeway, wouldn't strand me in another quadrant.
C) Sisko has shown incredible leadership abilities.
D) He cooks awesome food from New Orleans and invites crew members to come over.

but the finale of Voyager where Geordi appeared was 23 years after Voyager got home in the real time line. snap
I think janeway. She'd be fun to have as a captain and I think i really would fancy getting lost in the Delta Quadrant.... I'd be more like Tom and not really care. I want some new adventure where I don't have anyone to lean on at first. Plus by the end she'd kind of be in that friendship area where it'd be ok to make fun of her.

First of all, that timeline was changed, second, La Forge didn't appear, the episode he appeared in, was "Timeless" 'snap'

Yes, he did appear in the finale, he was trying to stop that Janeway from stealing that device from the klingons.

What are you talking about? No he didn't. Geordi La Forge? He was the chief engineer of the ENT-E and a captain of the USS Challenger in an alternate time.
I think the person you're trying to describe is Harry Kim and he wasn't trying to stop her from stealing the device. He was trying to stop her from USING it.

No, he did not appear in Voyager's series finale, that was Harry Kim. The only episode that La Forge ever appeared in was "Timeless."

No, he didn't appear in that episode. He appeared 2 seasons earlier, in Timeless. And what's with the "snap?" Are we in High School or something? And what makes your 'snap' even funnier for us, is that you were wrong.

^ why thank you. Of course, that's already been posted about four times prior, but I do appreciate a good poke-at here and there..... wow. Sorry I snapped at you Chris. But I think Robbie can still want to serve under Geordi, it's his own *beep* Star Trek fantasy. Let him be.

He was not in the finale. If you're saying that more than likely at that point he is a captain, then it makes sense. But now? You're not making sense.

If you are refering to the USS Challenger though, that wasn't his ship at the time, Endgame was in 2378 (Well, some of it, like when they all got home...), it was obviously under the command of someone else.

he is obviously referring to the Episode "Timeless" where Geordi La Forge is Capain of the USS Challenger. He is confused between endgame and this episode. The similarities are that in an Alternate timeline in the future Members of the USS Voyager try to go back in time too change the past.
Listen to this robbiewebster, in "Timeless" after the Slipstream jump goes bad the Delta Flyer gets home but the USS Voyager is crashed into an Icy planet. Harry Kim and Chakotay have stolen a Time Travel device from the borg and have found Voyger and intend to use the EMH to send a message to Seven of nine in the past. Geordi La Forge is the Cptain of the USS Challenger and tries to stop them at the Ice Planet.
In "End Game", Admiral Janeway steals a Time Travel device from the klingons, nobody tries to stop her there but eventually Harry Kim, Captain of the USS Rhode Island will try to stop her from using the time travel device.
Get it now robbiewebster?

I like DS9 better as a tv-show but Picard is definately the best Captain. He is a great diplomat and at the same time he is an able Captain during a crisis.
