Actually, it was down longer than a week, I think... But it was because the memory crashed on the host computer. Don't be surprised if some posts are missing because chances are we're running on a version of STV that was most recently backed up and lost stuff that hadn't yet been backed up.

I had XBox live so it didn't bother me.

I freaked out. I thought Morphy had forgotten to pay for the URL or something. I actually got scared and started saying things like "I'm never going to talk to any of them ever again...".
I ended up joining a KOTOR forum to fill the void.
It actually made me really appreciate how much I love this site. And made me feel like a very sad geek freak.

I missed people too. Forums like this really can be good places to find new friends.

There should be no missing post. There was no database corruption and no backup was used as a restore point.
The server was down for about 2 weeks. The person hosting my server box was out of the country so he had a friend check on it. That person told me it was bad memory (RAM). However, my friend that was on vacation is back and told me the memory is fine because server is working now without needing any RAM chips replaced. Something is definitely unstable, and I am in the process of transferring the site to a different server box.
Sorry everyone for the downtime. It was out of my hands.
