hi i don't really post in the ds9 section, but i like ds9 too, recently i was watching the episode The Quickening, the episode where bashir try to find a cure for the Blight and in many ways the Blight reminded me of HIV/AIDS, did any one else notice this?

Yes you are correct. Because of Star Treks connection with Paramount, every star trek show is required to dedicate at least 1 episode to AIDS/HIV awareness. Such as the Enterprise episode "Stigma" was about AIDS/HIV awareness.

Also because of paramount they make star trek shows create episodes about rape and also... boxing!

I can't remember all of the names ill have to watch all the shows again lol.

I know Voyager did 2 episodes about boxing i think one about rape and possibly one about aids.

I think TNG did 3 episodes about rape and possibly one about aids

DS9 did 1 episode about boxing and 1 about aids, dont think they did any about rape.

Enterprise did 1 episode about aids and 1 about rape.
