Do you think some episodes of Enterprise have similarity to other Trek's series episode..or perhaps even films?

When I saw Divergence (season 4), I think it's a little bit like SPEED, the films starred by Keanue Reeves and Sandra Bullock. The bus have to maintain the speed above 55 mph or the bomb on it will blow. And then they have to transfer the passenger from the bus while it's still running on that speed.

And, how about Extinction (season 3)...altered DNA, back to the home town (world)...it similar to Favorite Son (STV).

It's inevitable that there will be episodes similar to earlier Trek episodes. And it's inevitable that there will be Enteprise episodes with plots similar to movie plots like the one you mention. There are probably no truly original ideas in this day and age, but there are always variations on a theme.

Homage episodes are nice. VGR's season 7 "Author, Author" was perhaps the best one ever.

Well at some point I agree with you. BUt how about the episode 'Doctor's Order'? There's way too much similarity to one of voyager's episode. I think it's 'One'

Yes, I've noticed a few similarites between ENT episodes and other episodes from other series'. However, I've spotted even more in VOY, including an episode "Macrocasm" (sp?) which is almost a complete knock-off of the TNG episode "Genesis". Things like that just happen. You can't expect to see a completely original episode every episode (except in DS9. Joking...)

There are episode simularities, it's bound to happen, when they started Enterprise, it was close to if not ever 600 episodes (reached episode 700 in Season four) so, yeah...

With regard to similarities, (well maybe this isnt really a similarity but), I'll tell you all what I would have liked... If Im not mistaken, the Archer ENTERPRISE era, would be right around the time that the U.S.S. Horizon became stranded on Sigma-Iotia II, contaminating the local society with "The Book" about the Chicago Mobsters, being the precursor that ultimately leads to Kirk and crew having to deal with Jojo Krako, Bella Oxmyx and the rest of goons during their "A Piece of the Action" episode....IMO, the very BEST TOS era episode
